Some guy offscreen goes "WHAT?!?" and then a fart sound comes out. |

| Hm, so far the only good thing I see about this anime is that Rie Kugimiya is the voice actor of Kagura. Nothing else is really standing out right now, though hopefully that changes within a few more episodes. xD |

| LOL! XD Loved it! :P Glad I finally started watching the anime. Gintoki's voice surprised me :P I thought Shinpachi's fit well and so did Kagura's, but it was still kind of unexpected. Same with Hijikata lol XD Anyways, loved the OP and ED. I honestly don't remember much of the early manga, but I'm guessing that won't really matter much. Katsura is awesome :3 Star wars theme? That was interesting, and the lightsaber :P Happy ending for all it seems, which is good. Was a bit worried about the subs, but Shinsen seems to be pretty good so far. 199 more episodes to go! Haha XD |

If you dislike random type of humor, it's probably not for you. I have to say that the first 24 or so episode are not that great, the first arc, everything is just not good compared to the rest. There's also a change in the directors later on in the series, which I think caused a notable improvement(even though I like anime from both, and there was good aspects of both). Don't ask me when the change occurs, cause I don't know off the top of my head. |

| Woooow, this brings back so many memories. I'm not sure what prompted me to start watching this series from the beginning, but dang am I feeling the nostalgia. I've watched a couple episodes here and there because my brother was really into Gintama. Looking forward to dying of laughter from the next 199 episodes! |

| I like the voice of Kagura and her accent. Kugimiya Rie <3 So the 2 episodes is just a filler, but I don't care even if its a filler, I will watch all of the episodes. To the next episode!! |

| I knew about Gintama when I randomly Googled things like "funny anime faces" & "anime troll faces". I was hesitant to watch it due to the amount of seasons & episodes. It intimidated me as I'm not used to watching anime longer than 30-60 episodes. But I feel like I have to give it a try since I heard that it's one of the funniest anime ever. Another reason is that it was the highest recommendation for Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (or Nichibros), one of my absolute favorite comedy anime. Also, I loved Hidenori's voice, who was voiced by Sugita Tomokazu, who also apparently voiced Gintoki. |

| I laughed twice more. Well, the first two eps were fun, easy watching, but most certainly not amazing. That's what I expected of the series, anyway, so I'm sure it'll improve dramatically. I most certainly see the potential for it. And Gintoki already seems cool, so yay for that. |

| The first and second episode are completely pointless as they show a situation which is chronologically later in the "timeline". It would make sense they creators would make their episode what Gintama can be, but that's not what happened. The first two episodes barely hold a candle to the rest of the anime. 2/5 |

I’ll reset the Golden Rule Counter and watch 3 more episodes after this since these two were non-canon. Regardless, does this show really take 57 episodes to get good? Series Laughs: 0. Abysmal. |
