Touko-san's story about her regret tied in very well with Natsume's own regret with the youkai. I also love how this episode was shown in the youkai's perspective. This episode was so touching T_T I cried many times throughout it...especially at the end when Natsume went back to visit her, all the tears came flooding out. |

| oh great, just when i thought it'd be a happy episode (art museum trip with friends, yay), turned out i was wrong. This is probably the best episode so far, out of all the seasons (on a par with episode 6 of 1st season, about Tsubame, that bird youkai). It was great to see something from a youkai's perspective, so this episode feels more special compared to the others. Though i was kinda disappointed that Natsume couldn't take her with him, maybe as a cat or companion. or at least as a recurring character. I guess she couldn't go too far from the tree so the chance are very low.. |

Ahhhhhhhhhh...This is my favourite episode overall too. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....It will be superb if the Tree youkai and natsume get married. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ..... Why this have to end. |

| Touko reminiscing on her simple days as a child was equally nostalgic for me. There's been times when I feel like there's silly things that most people would forget and wonder if my old friends remember those memories as well. This was yet another simple and beautiful episode. It was sweet and funny watching the youkai chase Natsume around, the theme of loneliness was one that I feel really resonated with me this episode. I was on the verge of tears when the youkai and Natsume reunited and he thanked her for what she had done. Sometimes it takes growing up to realize the good things about the seemingly bitter experiences. |

| This was a really enjoyable episode. For the first time (I think) the story was told through the youkai's point of view. And I believe this is the first time someone recognizes Natsume as himself and not Reiko. Very nice. |
| Amazing and beautiful episode. Love the backstory of both the youkai and Natsume, the feels are strong in this ep and dang, nearly cried. Natsume so cute as a kid hugging the youkai as a cat :P |

| I am left speechless, what a beautiful episode. In fact, this episode and the previous one remind me of the first season I loved, season 2 felt somewhat different, not necessarily bad, it's just not what I want. |

| must....not...cry.... i thought she was going to turn into an evil spirit for a moment when she was screaming how she hated humans on top of the tree with the lightening. Thankfully she saw they are not all evil, just like Natsume grew to understand her kindness :) |
| Best episode so far. This is what was missing from the previous season. None of the episodes had these great emotional moments like the part where the Youkai reunites with Natsume after being alone and missing him for so many years. That almost made me cry. I hope the rest of the season continue to be this good. |

| This is my absolute favorite episode of the series, and I revisit it from time to time; heck "Tree Youkai" is one of my favorite characters! The track's timing at the end was superb~ |

| This is another of those episodes that I like most of all, the story of the ghost that is linked to the past of Natsume, is fantastic but so sad, not to mention Touko and her childhood, even it so melancholy and sweet . Just a shame that the ghost does not know much and Touko and her reunion, there is not shown anything, it was nice to know more, just to better appreciate the two subplots. Sweet scene where the ghost embraces Natsume, as it is pretty. *W* |
