| damn, i'm really liking this arc, has my favourite characters in it, and there's a lot of potiental for super-powers. also i think it may be obvious, but i'm thinking what karupika needs to learn is ren as well. |

| Hisoka's hair color change looks much better on him. His character design, in general, is very cool. |
| Hisoka is definitely the best character in the series. I'm not sure if I prefer him with red or green hair though. |

I'm surprised I like it, actually. He's not usually the type of character I would be intrigued by, but... Compared to Gon, I find Hisoka a far more interesting character. I don't really like how Gon just has everything come naturally to him. I think even in instances like this I would prefer characters like Naruto - characters who have to actually work to get good at something. (I don't mean having countless episodes devoted to mastering something, but the indication that something didn't just... happen by chance or by fluke. |

| Well, Gon's still stubborn and still doesn't show any regret for his recklessness. I find it hard to like him as a character, unfortunately. I do like Killua in the way that he thinks smartly, calmly and efficiently about any and every situation, but his loyalty to Gon is annoying, as it obviously limits his potential. :\ It seems Kurapika is also moving in the direction of Nen. Leorio is studying so it seems he isn't (But he is just comic relief anyway so meh). |

| gon cant be no one but himself he is NOT killua ,hisoka or naruto he just gon.in shonen everyone in the show gets to be who they are but mc always should be like someone else. if you like killua or hisoka thats fine i like them too but gon is gon cute, kind,and stubborn with a dash of selfish i just love him.sometimes i yell at the screen when he does stupid things and after i say thank you killua for being such a good friend his loyalty is not annoying ,their friendship is the best part of the show way better than naruto and sasuke gon and killua are both awesome |

| Wing: "What good is an apology going to do now? What the hell were you thinking out there?!" Oh no, I was hit by feels entirely unrelated to this arc. Past that, not sure if it's this just version or due to reexperiencing the material, but I live for the little character moments and the character moments only. As brilliant as the nen-centered world building is, "relearning" it is quite the bore. Nice animation, tho, I'll give them that. Gon is nuts. ♥︎ |

| I liked that there was a more mysterious side to nen. And we see more of the elevator lady, which is quite funny. Also good is that we get to see a little of what happened to Kurapika and Leorio. Kastro is awesome. |

| It took so long to finally reach Hisoka's fight and we barely haven't seen anything from it. I guess the 2011 version is superior because of the pacing alone already :< |
| I still prefer this version than the 2011 but the pacing of this arc sucks. They made some few episodes filler on Hunter Exam arc then they butchered this arc. There wasn't even a build up for Hisoka - Kastro fight. And stop comapring Nen to Ki in Db or Haki in OP. Lol Nen is more complex than that. |
| Well, that’s what Gon gets for not following orders, especially from somebody that is making you the favor of teaching you, hahahaha, well, at least Wing is a really good guy. Obviously, nen is stopping Kurapika, he must find someone who trains him. The battle looks balances, this is where we’re going to test Hisoka’s strength in another level. |
