Simple, tell us what you do for a living, or what you do part time.

As for me:

I'm a senior in College and I work part time as a Web Designer

OK... my official title is "Accounts Receivable Operations Analyst" for Home Depot Supply.

Actually... I'm just a lowly little A/R clerk that does a lot of trouble shooting and account repair/research when payments don't match up with invoices.

I'm a web designer, I balance that with my spare time as Homestead, my service provider recommends me. I also sell trinkets on Ebay, but that's more of a hobby.

Yeah, same as you guys. Currently done nothing for like half a year (a bit difficult for me to had gotten a job because of language barriers, that and I was lazy). Less then a month left to starting university. I was in a college last year doing a course to get into uni since high school diplomas arn't good enough in SEA.

I'm a 1st year university student - a programmer..

I don't work anything in particular, mostly fixing problems with software (most times removing viruses), sometimes hardware and consult people what they should buy (the more expensive - the better :-)) A really mixed one as you can see ^_^'

nah, the time I've been there only eats away at your spirit. The ones that have been there for years or the evening crew are the ones to worry about. =p The managers are nice to the night crew, since no one wants to work those hours. (even falling asleep at your terminal just gets you a tap on the shoulder...not gonna test how far it goes though).

A side note though, at orientation, they said saying the word "postal" while on the grounds is subject to severe disciplinary actions. =p A lot of people came in trench coats on halloween though. Guess that's why the swat truck was there now that I think about it...

How long have you been there? I hear the rules are pretty strict. Heard from my sister since she was fired within a month. Actually 3 weeks, but she got a phone call saying she was fired; they called back a week later saying that she had to be fired in person so she had to come in to work for a couple of hours, which she didn't...

I'm studying Mathematics at Chapman University. I work for the Orange Unified School District teaching kids how to do math.

I also invented the internet in 1952. Unfortunately, it didn't catch on and my company went bankrupt. Now, I spend my nights drinking cheap scotch and watching Comedy Central.

I'm a junior in highschool and I'm a courtesy clerk (bagger) at Kroger.
The job is not too hard, just complicated during holidays.

I make a decent amount of money. I'm glad they are raising minimun wage.

I'm a sophomore II nursing student at college. I also TA for physiology (I teach/monitor 3 lab sessions), and I work at the front desk for one of the freshman residence halls.

I used to work at a theme park, at a high volume restaurant on the grounds. I handled the cash. It was stressful. =|

I'm glad to say I never experienced the food service industry. I started off at Kroger's long, long ago (1996-ish) at the then minimum wage of $4.25... It didn't last long... scored a job working for a local PC repair shop for $7.25 and after several moves I'm in a nice job with friends making a good wage ^^

Well... I learned today... that for the 3rd time in less than 3 years... the company I work for (or at least part of it) is probably going to be sold. So... for the 3rd time in less than 3 years, I may be out of work.

I didn't lose my job the first two times... but you know what they say... the 3rd time is the charm!! =/

Don't know when... or how long it will take for them to figure things out... but it's gonna be fun having to "get back out there" at my age. Y'all just say prayers, or chants, or keep your fingers crossed... or whatever it is y'all do.

ok, im what i like to call a "professional student." i have been going to college off and on for forever now, with nothing to show for it! ^_^ but i have been having fun. I used to major in music education (emphasis on vocal), then special education, then changed to a science oriented course path, then decided on some kind of medical field, then changed my major to, the most recent, nursing program. but im thinking of changing my major again o_O

at least i have an AA. -_-

oh, and i have been working as a caregiver in a group home for those with mental/physical disabilities for the last 4+ years.
