| The OP is OK – I liked it. “The Moon Drop is howling!” Does that mean something actually happened in this city? The animations are pretty cool – one of the best I’ve seen to now! Just like me, this boy just seem to love storms and rain! ^__^ The cherry blossom trees were beautiful to start with. The ED was nice too. This anime has really nice atmosphere and feeling into it, I'm looking forward to it. I liked the part with the kiss ^__^ Ousto said: Pretty good first episode though, I want to see how things will turn out. Hoping it won't be disappointing like C. C was pretty good, just it wasn't something for everyone's taste... |

| I've been reading novel and watching anime (and some manga pages...) of no.6 with such a heart warm! Nezumi and Sion friendship is not simple, it's way much deeper than lovers, friends, enemies or any other friendship status, just had to tell that :D Thought in novel there were more feelings expressed (like Shion was always amazed by Nezumi's eyes ; how much he liked his behaving and body and so on and on...) , in anime there were more things which fixated their deep relationships. For example, the "Safu's sweater" story. In novel Sion gave Nezumi random clothes but in anime that sweater gesture expressed how important Nezumi was thought the sweater was given from the best (and only) friend (FOR BIRTHDAY). I guess it also expresses that Sion is kinda anti-materialist unlike other people in no.6. |

| If I ever need a reminder that the human race is full of immature crybaby manchildren, MAL is the place to go! This thread in a nutshell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg4HbzuxCIE I find it very ironic and kind of hilariously ridiculous that there was a heterosexual kiss scene, and two children who are 12 holding hands and playing around, and everybody's screaming yaoi. At this point, I'm already expecting shounen-ai undertones in the future, but it's just so funny reading these comments. People sure are fucking stupid. OnT: Pretty cool start, this series has lots of potential! I can see that class disparity is going to be a big theme. I really liked all the subtle things that illustrated this. Like how they were excited for a typhoon. Like, a giant storm is of no concern to them, because they are so well off and protected, that it is nothing but a mere source of entertainment. Meanwhile, it shows clips of people who aren't living in the center city/rich area showing expression of legitimate fear at the coming weather, implying that they aren't so fortunate in their living arrangements. The focus on the wrist band things being a requirement to enter buildings. The government forcing citizens to respond to news messages. The vague sense and threat of constant observation. The way it's all presented so casually and matter of factly really immerses you in the setting, and makes it much more believable. The only thing I didn't really like was the line where the grandma was talking about how "things are so nice, people have nothing to worry about except knitting and gardening! I just don't know what to do with my days.." That line seemed really forced. Watching the scene, you already got the sense that they lived in a society where the richer people led incredibly burden-free lives. Even just the innocence and naivety of the main character would tell you that. The grandma's line felt like the writers were just spoon feeding us, and it was a bit condescending. It cheapened writing, in my opinion. They were telling us, instead of showing us. But anyway, I'm expecting a lot from this show! |

| Interesting. I love the ED song by Aimer. (I already heard it before I watched this anime) I like Shion. Even if Yuki Kaji is voicing him, he's no crybaby. I'm fine with the Shounen-ai subtext tbh. They're way cuter than the childhood friend and Shion pairing. |
| While this was rather a vague and pretty weird yet interesting episode I do wonder what the overall story line will be like! This sure attracts my attention! |

| Heard this was yaoi. Came here for the guilty pleasure huehuehue ;P It's a nice storyline tho. I think it's quite interesting :} Kinda subtle BL undertones rn, but if it really is yaoi, I'm impressed it's nothing cliche |
