| First off, way to go gramps. 79 and had a kid...crazy. That being said, this episode was amazing. Really plucked at the heart strings when she asked if he was ever going to wake up. The two kids really had contrasting personalities which I think made Rin all the more appealing. Can't wait to see where this one goes next. |

| Okay, already crying like a little girl from thie part with the flowers onward. (not even half way through the series....) I can't believe I waited a year to pick up this series... It hits me kinda hard because Rin reminds me so much of my niece, it's kinda hard comprehending it as I type this. Sacrificing whatever you can for a child like that is a small price to pay for that child's smile in return. |

| Art reminds me of Nodame Cantabile but with a more different way of animating the characters. I'm alright with it. Soundtrack is gorgeous. It displayed like 6-7 beautiful compositions in only one episode. Definitely downloading this later. Wasn't expecting much out of this series because I thought I was gonna dislike a "old guy-young girl" kind of show. But, wow. This exceeded my expectations so much. Like some others, I nearly cried during this episode, specifically at the part where Rin cried. It was sad. 5/5 - That's a high first impression score from me! |

Only downside is I have to pause when I want to look all the details of the artwork so I don't accidentally miss a line or two. |

| This was downright adorable. I thought my heart would be a little more resilient for these type of things but I was starting to tear up in just this first episode. The artwork and the music build a very good atmosphere. I've been enjoying Barakamon from this season so this seems it will be something I will enjoy as well. Though it will go down a different route |

| I enjoyed the first episode. I'm glad the little girl didn't end up having an annoying personality like that other little girl in the family. She seems quiet and introspective. The animation is really nice as well. |
