| My first order of business (if you haven't read chapter 3 you may not want to read this): the revealed Arita is absolutely hideous. I'm not sulking because I wanted him to be uke or anything. (I actually welcome the surprise of him being more seme and Daisuke seems pretty uke already.) I am just honestly disgusted by him. In general, all of the characters are pretty ugly except for Daisuke. Second, I hate how all of a sudden Arita's personality has completely changed, and the explanation we're given is that he just acts differently with his suit off. The story is unique (for a BL manga at any rate), but sort of takes a bad turn when (and you probably shouldn't read this if you haven't yet read chapter 4) Daisuke goes to the underground world for reasons that I don't really know how to explain. What I can say is that the cuteness and uniqueness can only carry this story so far. |
