| It was terrible. I really like Blade movies excluding Goyer's crap, especially Norrington's job where we can find cool Deacon Frost not this big fat fucker from here. And what the fuck with Blade, who is it? It's definitely not Wesley Snipes, he looks like Sticky Fingaz who played Blade in shitty TV series. In the end it's just the other bad anime based on american comic book. Japanese guys still don't know how to do things about western heroes. |

| What the hell? Are you guys kidding me? This is probably one of the best action/seinen anime to come out this summer line up. I never watched/read the original Blade in my entire life so this is completely new to me, but that's why it seems pretty wicked. He showed the vampires who was boss - until that Deacon Frost dude showed up. The OP and ED were nice too. Maybe to those who have seen the original Blade, it may seem like a shitty show because it was poorly adapted? IDK, but this was pretty sick. |

| people who have already seen other blade material are always gonna compare this with that. i'm not that much of a huge fan of blade, nor have i seen the other movies/comics about it either, but this episode was pretty decent to me. |

| As one of the few who watched all the Marvel Anime that came out, this is definitely one of the better first episodes. Blade's voice is a bit too old for his looks but I'll get used to it. Plus there's Ryougi Shiki as well. Works for me. Story-wise, not too familiar with the Blade comics except for the movies but it's looking good. Hoping for it to get better. But heck, it's better than Iron Man and Wolverine now so that's saying something. Like the OST. Sounds similar to Wolverine. |

| I don't understand why Madhouse continues to make these American comic adaptations... Are they forced to through some kind of agreement with Marvel? They weren't, aren't and won't sell... so why continue with a project that results in a net loss of income? These adaptations make Highschool of the Dead look like a masterpiece and we all know what kind of travesty and insult to everyone's intelligence that was... |

| Did they had like $100 to do the episode? How ridiculous was their attempt to not show any movement during vampire exterminations. No animation at all in the fights. Anyway the whole thing was horrible. Blade couldn't shut-up(introducing himself and shit) and even got his ass kicked easily. The only scene i liked was when that girl told that guy that he stinks and kicked him out of the window. Yeah am happier re-watching the movies than this. |
| Hmmm, well in most Comic cartoons there was no blood to a little amount of blood. And quit whning, the comic is ten times better than the movie and by all means I liked the first one, second was okay and the third one was simply an insult. The animation is nice, fighting scenes are neat to watch and Frost looks more like Frost, not like that random "typical american Frost" from the movies. The thing that gets on my nerves though is the overly dramatic music, could tone that one down a bit. But the Supernatural Animation has that problem too with the overusing of drama tracks. All in all I´ll watch it a bit longer. |
| This is the revenge for all the horrible US life-action movies based on Anime/Manga... Well, this is still the better vampire series of the two I was looking forward to, I just had to drop this after watching episode 1, but I couldn't stand Klutz-Saya for more than 5 minutes... |

| Overall that was pretty bad. There was too much pointless narration, the part with the girl and her dad happened way too quick (at least take some time to introduce the characters so we can feel sorry for them), and Blade gets beat down already? That was a bit sad to see. Also putting the name of the sword attack all big across the screen annoys me to no end. I seriously hope they don't do that too often. Yeah, I think I'll just wait until this airs on G4 to watch it. |
