| According to their website, Otakon has announced that award winning director, animator, and voice actor Makoto Shinkai will appear as a guest at this year's convention. Otakon is the second largest anime convention in North America second only to Anime Expo. This year it will be held from July 29 - July 31 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland. Other guests to be at Otakon this year include Johnny Yong Bosch, CHEMISTRY, Tony Oliver, Lisa Ortiz, and Tom Wayland. | I live in Arizona and we never get any international voice-actors, directors, anything, here. I'd have to go to AX but I wish I could go. I don't have enough money to make a trip for it. Los Angeles mostly gets everything but Maryland?! I never expected it! |
