| I feel like the new art makes any sort of "intimidation" meaningless. When Riko was meant to "make him hurt" her empty smile just came off as wonky at best. It doesn't help that they offscreen any sort of violence. A lot of this episode felt disjointed. They wanted to press a philosophical approach about ending hatred and strife, but none of the rest of the episode, or season for that matter, reflect that agenda. I mean, you could probably have tied that into the first season, but this one is all over the place. |
