| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- There was one subbed and it's titled "Saiyuki Gaiden 1" so it's this right? Been a really long time since I watched this. So this is the continuation of that flashback of their past lives in the first season . I just thought they were exiled right there and then in that first part where they made a ruckus. The art feels a bit different, or maybe I just forgot since it was a long time ago. But Goku's face just looks...weird. And was Nataku blonde? I don't remember... Anyways, I really wondered why the Heaven army took a long time to barge in to Konzen's. They're like, 2000 they said. And they could have easily sneaked in the other parts of that building. Oh well. It was still good nonetheless. Nice to find out how they went to the human world. Wonder what will happen next and when will the next episode come out(or when it will be subbed if it's already out.) And why is this tagged as shoujo? Did I miss something? >_> And gotta watch the other seasons as well. |

| I've been waiting for this for ages. I didn't expect it be like this honestly. It's like a big bunch of flashbacks linked together. It felt a bit rushed imo. I wanted more Goku-Nataku time. However, i enjoyed watching Konzen hitting Konzeon xD I don't really mind the new hair colours except for Nataku, they should have kept the old one (bluish, violet or i don't know how to call it xD). It was pretty nice over all, i liked the art (Konzen is a beauty *_*) and i can't wait for the next episodes ! |

| The first OVA was already translated by ChoHakkaiFan: http://ensui-fan.livejournal.com I´ve tried to add this fansub group to the translators of the anime, I hope moderator will approve it soon enough. |
| I also felt it was rushed. I wished they had turned it into a 10 episode series, or at least more than 3. ;_; I still loved it, I just wish they had taken more time to link everything together. Oh well. Perhaps episode 2 will be better. |

| Somehow, I am a little disappointed. The storyline didn't flow quite smoothly as there seem to be bits and pieces skipped in the naration. |
