Director also did Death Note, so it should be something to keep an eye out for.

Ability of the King has some similarities on Ueki's power.

Exactly my first thought.

Anyway, supercell + Production I.G + Araki Tetsuro = I’m definitely in, hell yeah. Great combo.
I think, then procrastinate.
Therefore, I am.

I thought for a moment when I saw Yoshino Hiroyuki that 'Was he into series compositions?'. And then I saw that he wasn't the seiyuu but a different person. Fail orz

Reminded me of Touma's Imagine Breaker but we'll see if it's good.
Director and the series composer are trustworthy.
Another one on my Fall list then. Fall is shaping to be one hell of a season.

Tl;dr I'll watch it.
It can't possibly fail with this setup, right?

Title reminds me 3rd volume of Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria ln, and that makes it a must-watch. Though it surely won't be as good.

I'm not convinced about this. The quality of the staff look rather shaky to me, even if they are responsible for some ultra-popular anime.

Looks like the noitaminA guys have finally realised that uniqueness doesn't sell, so making series like AnoHana (I still need to watch past the first ep of this, but it doesn't seem exceptional, even if it's better executed than other anime of it's kind. Note that using a ghost in an otherwise realistic setting is probably my single biggest pet hate in all of anime) and this would serve them much better.

Exactly my thoughts. The director did some decent job on some titles (Aoi Bungaku 5-6 no matter what everyone says) as well as some nearly unwatchable crap (*cough* Kurozuka *cough*), and the main scriptwriter did mostly crap. The assistant scriptwriter looks the most promising of them all, having written Planetes and Stellvia and working on a couple of other good titles.

The plot sounds like a Deadman Wonderland rehash as well.

Don't mind him, he's just desperately trying to bring attention to his persona, like, you know, that small dog barking at an elephant.

Hmm. Director, studio and Supercell seems like a good combination, even more so if it ends up in the noitaminA timeslot.

Plus redjuice is always a good sign. Lovely designs.

Wow, the director from Death Note, the screenplay creator from Code Geass, music by ryo from Supercell, and to top it all off, directed by Production I.G.

THIS WILL BE EPIC!
