Have only read 3 shoujo series so far. One was Girl Friends

Girl Friends is Seinen. Shoujou-ai ≠ Shoujou.

The genre demographic doesn't matter as long as it's good.

This. So yeah I read Shoujou.

Sure. Why not? Except the ones that are solely girl+ perfect senpai/bad boy in high school. Those I avoid. Basically, the same goes with manga that goes with anime.

Honestly, I hate the...
"love triangles", -just piss the hell out of me! Another guy just butting in with that supid naive girl confused wanting the both!?

Why the hell do some girls like that!? ><

But I've always loved that fluffy cute feeling of it.
The only time it gets ruined is when the other guy first appears...

I read my sister manga out of boredom and it was some what interesting. She dont own them and i dont like reading something not in the right order, but other than that it can be good.

I completely avoided it originally. Now that I've pretty much run out of shonen and seinen to read, I've given it a go. I'm enjoying it, some of it's actually surprisingly good (Kaichou Wa Maid Sama and Kimi Ni Todoke for example)

Half the manga I've read are shoujo. I'm a sucker for cheesy love stories.

Shoujo manga is one of my favorites so I'm not ashamed of it..

especially if it helps us guys to understand them even a little..

besides a lot of Shounen manga is serious and I usually dig Comedy manga which is usually in a Shoujo manga

SKIP BEAT! I LOVE IT!
Also Gakuen Alice seems very good.
i also tried Vampire Knight a few years back, but didn't like it. Considering to give it another go.
7seeds is also a good shoujo.

So yeah, nothing wrong with shoujo, although a bit too "sweet" at times.

Shoujo plain suck.

If a guy I know reads them, I would knock some sense into his head.

Yeah, I read about an equal amount of shonen and shoujo.

I'm not a fan of the really fluffy romance stuff so i do avoid a fair few series.

actually, Honey and Clover is josei same with Nana, so... whatever^^

---------

surprisingly enough I've quite a few shoujo on my list, I've run a script and according to MAL (which is unfortunately not so reliable for this case) from my 156 Manga are:
- 40 Shoujo
- 36 Seinen
- 30 Shounen
- 3 Josei
which also means at least 47 Manga have no demographic assigned (in reality it's more because some of them have more than one...) but you can see a trend

so yea, I read a lot of shoujo, even though I read in the last years mostly seinen and want to read more josei (but it's quite neglected by foreign publishers... if you don't count yaoi :/) but now and than I dip into a nice shoujo or two^^

I read shoujo and often times enjoy it. In fact, I can't think of anything I enjoy more than a good romance.

However, some shoujo does bore me. I guess I like my shoujo having a bit of drama to liven things up.

I don't love it/hate it more than other genres, though I'll admit I'm a bit picky about it. I do enjoy Skip beat,Aishiteruze Baby, and some others.

As long as the art and/or story is decent or doesn't immediately give a bad impression I'm fine with shoujo...and any other genre. Though after a while I tend to drop them for some reason...

2 in my top 5 favorite mangas are shoujo. Karin and Absolute Boyfriend. Very enjoyable reads, I highly recommend them.

Current ones I'm reading are Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Watashi ni xx Shinasai!, and Suki desu Suzuki-kun!!

I tend to be picky with shoujo mainly because of the art style. Anything similar to Yuu Watase's is right up my alley.

I personally find myself quite drawn to shoujo manga. I love romance and the style of shoujo is something that I enjoy. My friends attribute it to the fact that I grew up with just my mom and have always been a pretty hardcore momma's boy. *shrug*

I read it sometimes, and I enjoy it as much as shonen manga, if not more.
The only thing I dislike is the artstyle but I don't dislike it enough to not read it.

I've only ever read 3 shoujo manga. they are not bad. it's just that 2 of them are virtually the same (namely kaichou wa maid-sama and special-A). So I stopped reading them with the mindset of if you read one shoujo, you read all.

I probably could read anything without too much of a problem as long as it doesn't entirely suck, so from what I've read, plenty are shoujo. As long as I enjoy it in the end, I don't ever care.

My fiance loves shoujo, and actually reminds me of the MC from Otomen. He likes cute and girly things and people often mix up our things because his is usually girlier than mine. Like these that we got from a booth at the lake on the 4th of July. His is the pink one. xD

@Sukemura, it happened to me too, but that didn't stop me from reading other Shoujo.
