Apart from my initial response in the spoiler I found myself yelling in my room “Now that's a man! That's a man!” Really well done Jinta and TBH his way of talking sounded a little like Anjou so it is another sign that they are good for each other. About Anjou/Jinta, I really liked Anjou most of all for her blush in the following,  that really showed a nice side of her shyness not seen before. Anjou from the looks of being escorted by the teacher was most likely seen making that scene in front of the love hotel. So big trouble already. Obviously Jinta made a good facial expression towards Anjou to show her clearly he does not like what is going but Anjou might have been thinking it was something against her. Haruna on the other hand did not hesitate to tease out Anjou, which I did not really like too much the way she acted at that part. I am wondering why is Anjou's ribbon is untied like this? My angered occurred as the sadness and view of Anjou in the spoiler Jinta during that time was so like hazed with a “Huh?” Then at the bases comes a great pouting Anjou that was hilarious. Do wonder what significance this drawing does have. Rather intriguing it was found out now of all times. Yeah I was pretty surprised that Anjou has damn lots of guts to touch cum stained Kleenex and porn mags while cleaning the base and of all things anyone noticed here that one of the mags peeked her interest. It was kind of nostalgic to see the group walking in the sunset with their shadows, it was more the way it was presented. Menma's mother looked really happy to see them but looked for a minute with this having another set of emotions. Not really sure what but it looked strange that she changed her hands around her face like that. She also looked strange when introducing what was Menma's room. I kind knew it was empty and that the stuff would be hidden because most likely the family would not be able to handle it, particularly the father. I am sure the mother would have liked to have it intact. In the end with Anjou, Jinta got a nasty hit of can in the spoiler About Menma/Poppo, Menma was really cute when she hugged Jinta as he was brushing his teeth. In fact if Menma can take the object to ring the ceremonial place where Jinta's mom is then now I am sure she can take objects to show she is around since she did the ring 3 times. It was cute to see her pray for Jinta's mom, a ghost praying for a ghost as the irony goes, the dead pray for their own kind too. She looked really good visually while sitting on the balcony. Her whole complex about her mother and crying in the spoiler In regards to Poppo, he was just plain hilarious as he panicked over the cleaning of Anjou due to porn mags that were around the base. He looked here still very serious in trying to see Menma, which is good for a persevere attitude. He looks pretty happy that there may be some answers in Menma's diary, which looks promising in the next episode but Jinta does tell him not to open until the right time. About Yukiatsu/Tsuruki, their school looks really nice but not too pro compared to some other private school designs I have seen in other animes. Rather adorable girl she is that was giving the envelope to Tsuruki and her friend seems to have a possible love interest in Tsuruki. That is until that girl got angry, then she looked pretty bad attitude. Yukiatsu on the other hand looked damn funny seeing off the girls but got Tsuruki angry. I loved the train part as a nice conversation issued and it shows that Yukiatsu is pro with Iphone. The flashback reminds that Yukiatsu was ignored due to Jinta's popularity. About preview, looks like Jinta on the way back from the base meets Yukiatsu/Tsuruki and I wonder what is going to happen. Menma looks daring in that pose and will be funny eating spaghetti. | lol so awesome, jintan is watching occult gakuen in the tv xD for me it was the funniest ep ever, hamtaro in the wall, sudden nose bleed ^^ oh and that menma had to tell something in the past may be a hint? |

| Jintan no HENTAI!!! LMAO It may have been a cliched anime moment, but damn that was freaking funny. Anjou voice actor is Sugoi. It kinda woke me up from that tear jerking moment beforehand. also, that last can tossed. "Damn, that's gonna leave a mark!" was what I was thinking when I heard the *THUD!* Everytime I see Menma's mom I just want to go up to her and hold her. "No, parent should ever have to bury their child" is a saying I always lived by. So when I see the expressions of sadness in a parents eyes, it really hits home for me. |

What I meant was that we know that Jintan, Naruko and Yukiatsu blame(d) themselves for Menma's death because the day she died they said things they now regret (Naruko asked if Jintan liked Menma, Jintan called her ugly and never apologized and Yukiatsu confessed). meme-chan said: Agree and like I said not much is revealed of their emotions because as the saying goes "A storm takes time to brew" so shall Poppo and Tsuruko. I got a taste of Poppo's foreshadow of that last episode when he wants to see Menma but can't. He also looked a little depressed this episode but the signs are really weak now.I'd like to know if it's the same for Poppo since he seems quite desperate to see Menma. There's also Tsuruko, in the flashbacks you can see she was more... cheerful as a child, I think the only time I've seen her smile was in episode 1. And there's also the hairpin we saw in the previous episode. |

| Points to Jinta for going to school, and doing a little bit of manning up to help Anaru. Though she does sort of pay back his covering her and defending her with a can to face lol.. And he is still running from Menma though hes saying more now before he does.. and Menmas mothers eyes ... seems like she thinks something or knows something.. And so that day everyone gathered because of Menma it would make sense she was sitting in the place where all could see her.. But nice that Tsuruko points it out , so Yukihatsu and uh have another hate attempt fail. and next we have Jinta I assume opening the diary.. and meeting up with our 'elite highschool' duo at night in his school uniform at that.. Can't believe were heading into episode 7 - I assume we will get quite a few more hints next episode and uh .. Go Anaru x Jinta |

| No Tsuruko developments?! I am sad face. At least we got a clue about Menma having something to tell everyone the day she died, plus a hopefully interesting journal to disect next episode. But this show really has a lack of Tsurumi and Yukiatsu in comparison to the other characters. Oh well. I like everyone, so it's not so bad. |

| Oh lulz, he's watching Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin. Why would he even do that? Wow. That was awkward. Good way she stood up for Anaru at least, I guess. And moar Anaru <3 Wow. That was awkward. Jintan's great at creating awkward situations. And some moar Anaru <3 It's funny, I like surprisingly many of the main characters in this show. Only ones I don't really like are Yukiatsu and Menma. |

| Jinta actually makes some progress with himself that never talks out and makes himself out of place. I wonder why did Jinta get a nosebleed or was it just out of random. Why I saw Menma's empty room, that just depressed me. Menma saying she wants her mom to forget about her was sad. She wants everyone to remember her except her mom. |

| Is it possible the END lyrics (or op too) could also be giving hints.. Just something to throw out there. I mean she could be calling them together for many reasons.. this "10 years later in august" just seems to stand out. |
| Lol, Jinta was watching Occult Academy on tv. I can't believe that Anaru was cleaning up Poppo's mess, gross. But the school parts with her and Jinta were great. I like how Jinta always goes to school just to leave later... I really want to see what's in the dairy. Next episode, I suppose. This ep was pretty calm though, it ended on a pretty light note. They added some new animations to the ED too. |

| im too lazy to type wat i typed out on the site i watched the episode but heres wat i possed on the comment board...as i said at the end of it maybe im just overthinking it or possibly just using a generic ending: i think menma there cause in a sense everyone still remebers her and have in a sense ’stop moving forward’(i.e. jintan still stuck on apologizing to menma/yuki cant get over his obsession of menma/naruko+the other chick still have a inferiority complex over menma/not too sure about popo though :/). the only reason jintan prob can see her is cause both he and menma have an attraction to each other thus menma believes that jintan is the only one able to fullfil her wish. so im guess in the end he figures out the wish(which is i believe is to get the gang back together and on friendly terms again) and for everyone to finally move on with their life…then again im prob jsut reading too deep |

| Why is there no 11/10 score option?!?! It's a crime I tell you!!!! Once again, AnoHana never fails to deliver. Jintan maning up on his first official day of calls since the opening ceremony? Tsundere Anjou? This episode solidifies this series as one of the all-time greats for me. VERY well done episode. I teared up a little when Menma was crying... :( |

| I was a little disappointed when they killed the mood of Jinta's rant with a nosebleed, but otherwise it was an interesting episode. I wonder if Menma's wish had anything to do with whatever she didn't get to tell everyone at the fort. I dunno, so many things in this episode that I want to comment on but I have no time. Can't wait for the diary next ep, that's for sure. o u o |

| The diary will propably say something about that thing that she wanted to tell everyone on that day. It will propably not her wish, because that would be too simple, but I think it will give some hint or something. |

| Wow, this episode had both sad and really funny moments. Anjou calling him pervert, because of the nosebleed was awesome. I am still laughing. Next episode will probably be about the diary. I can't wait so long :( |
| Wow. Jintan protected Anaru. yatta~ I think Jinta was going to confess or apologize to Menma but that nosebleed interrupted a good conversation. but last scene was full of win. |
