I've rewatched Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness) once, but in Japanese w/subs. You can only sit through so much of that series dubbed without the voice acting becoming a mild form of torture. I've also rewatched the first five episodes of Cowboy Bebop about 3 times.

Crap, I don't even have enough time in my life to watch all the series I want to watch even one time, much less spend that time rewatching stuff.

That having been said, I have rewatched Trigun and FMP: Fumoffu a couple of times, along with certain episodes of Gintama, Ouran, and Haruhi. I probably couldn't handle much more than that.

usually usually like to rewatch the anime that i first watched when getting into it. old stuff like bakuretsu hunters, bubblegum crisis, evangelion. it gives me that nostalgic feeling of omg wow. but now lately, since i just bought myself a plasma tv, i am going back and rewatching everything that i have that is HD so i can see them with all their pretty colors and what not. that will take me a while to do. is that sad that 80% of the reason i bough an HDTV was for anime? other 20% is video games.

I rarely rewatch. Rewatched Rose of Versailles 6 times now (sometimes I just need to listen to "OH mon André!"), Sailor Moon 3, Fruits Basket twice, and anime movies.

But lately I have so many things to watch that I don't have time.

Well one thing I've learned from this experience, is that a princess is still a princesss even when she is naked.

I've rewatched Ghost in the Shell-SAC(both seasons), Record of Lodoss War, Berserk, Escaflowne, Claymore, Digimon :D(preferably season 2), etc. a few times. Usually I rewatch anime to catch some things I missed, or just because they're kick ass.

I've rewatched Samurai X quite a few times, also RahXephon once or twice in the many years I've owned it. Also, I've re-watched Princess Tutu a few times too. Not to mention Interstella 5555 quite a bit.

I also tend to rewatch shows that I initally watched online but then they got licensed and released, so I'll rewatch them once I own the DVDs.

I'm currently rewatching Special A and I got done rewatching Hajime No Ippo a few weeks ago.

Most of what I have on DVD. Partially because I mainly buy things I've seen before/have seen part of and think will be rewatchable. Partly because I get bored and it's easy to pop in a DVD.

But especially Cowboy Bebop, Cardcaptor Sakura, Silent Mobius, Lodoss TV and some of the movies (mostly Ghibli). I've been disappointed to not want to rewatch a show I've bought after seeing it once.

I also like to rewatch or complete series I saw years and years ago. I found out that the library has Escaflowne, so I've been checking out the DVDs a few at a time. Should finish in the next week, assuming the DVDs are there when I go tomorrow. I saw the first few episodes years ago on TV (about 2000? 2001?), but they didn't show the whole thing.

Really? I'm having a hard time getting through it the first time. The idea of rewatching it is mindboggling. Episodic stuff, sure. Short concise stories, again, sure... but long series with large amounts of filler and nothing happening? >.>

It's all about Kenshin season 2, my friend. I've rewatched all my anime atleast once, Wolf's Rain, Gungrave, and Death Note especially.

If I had a dime for everytime I re-watched Cowboy Bebop and Lupin III, I'd be rich.
I like to rewatch a lot of the anime I have because it's extremely good, and it doesn't get boring the 2nd time around.

The only anime series that I've re-watched of my own accord (not being forced to re-watch them with friends) were Berserk, Yu Yu Hakusho (although I did skip whole episodes at a time) and GTO, which is the best anime series of all time in my opinion.

Re-watched Evangelion recently, cause its like 7 - 8 years since i last saw it.
Couldnt remember anything from it, and thought i would enjoy it more (since I'm older and more experienced in the anime world). And yeah, I did find it more enjoyable now :>

I usually dont re-watch things though.

I only rewatch anime when I'm introducing an anime to someone else, or when I start watching an anime that I stopped watching a long time ago and haven't completed. Does that count? The most recent anime I rewatched was either Moyashimon or Kino no Tabi. I can't recall which.

Basically anything that I have rated a 9 or a 10 I will probably end up re-watching. I am re-watching Eyeshield 21 right now. I have also watched Slayers, Saiyuki, Prince of Tennis, Yu Yu Hakusho etc more then once. Sometimes I put an anime on hold for so long I forget what is going on in it so I have to re-watch from it from the beginning.

I've re-watched:

Clannad (including ~AS~) = Closest Anime to reality. A Masterpiece.

Code Geass (together with R2) = It's Brilliance, Sense of Patriotism, it has almost all the genres. Also a Masterpiece.

Death Note = Intelligent, Thought-Provoking

Hajime no Ippo = Stunning animation. You're not just watching it, you can almost feel it.

Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu = its tl;dr but anyway

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan = LOLer.

Slam Dunk = Basketball. Need I say more?

Yu Yu Hakusho = ...

Neon Genesis Evangelion = refer to Haruhi.

Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka = Watch and you'll know

I watch Cardcaptor Sakura every year, and well here's a list.

Air TV - 3 times
Cardcaptor Sakura - 7ish or so
Clannad - 2
Code Geass - 2
Eden of the East - 3
Higurashi's - 2
Kanon 2006 - 3
Macross Frontier - 2
Ouran High School Host Club - 4
Haruhi Suzumiya - 3

That's it for now, a lot of the re-watches are because either a sibling or a friend watches the show, and I re-watch with them. Of course I enjoyed all of these so much I don't have a problem watching them a million times. These don't include movies either.

If I'm doing research/schoolwork on my laptop I'll usually put in either Lucky Star or Hayate to have something to look up to and listen to know and then. Lost count of how many times I've watched Lucky Star, something just hearing them talk is more than sufficient to provide ample entertainment while working.
