| Ah, this would be the part that I had doubts whether it would be able to deliver as much as the movie... It was done well but, unlike the previous chapter, very little risks were taken in this one. It followed the flow of scenes in the movie almost perfectly (with a few negligible exceptions). It was inferior to the first chapter because of that. Like Personas, I also hope the next few scenes are extended. I always thought they were quite short in the movie. Now that time flow constraints are no longer a concern, I expect a more complete description of their reunion. :) |

Yes I wish that they would expand more on the next scene in this manga than in the movie. I also believe that Takagi didn't rewrite the letter because usually when you rewrite things its never the same than the first time it is written. even if you do remember most of it there'll be at least small changes to the text. I also think he was too bummed out waiting and feeling bad for Akari that he didn't get a chance to write another letter, or maybe he didn't have any paper on him to do so? |
| Oh.... Sucks big time when you arrive late due to the public transportation system! Has happened to me a few times and arrived late to important appointments... But I do like Toono's will to keep on going and have faith that she will still be around when he arrives... In the end he arrived really late! Much later than they expected.... 4:15 hours later! That's sick... At least he had the patience to wait... But it's like he said he has been lonely since they parted ways... and he feels that she has been lonely as well... Just to tone down the loneliness... A meeting should be good enough... As for the letter... Like Aya says.... Letters don't turn out the same way, especially those that are for special people.... Love letters are hard to read just as we could see... He really had a hard time writing it in the first place... I think it's that... Was so hard to read that he doesn't have any more strength to write another one! xD Signs, Green |

| This part has always bothered me, both in the movie and the manga. What I’m surprised to see is that there is a lack of anger. I imagine most people would see this as nature fighting against them, but Takaki doesn’t. I do understand that he feels helpless in that situation, but I would expect a person to through a some rage before the hopelessness sinks in. |
