Animations during the "fight" scene, like when they're sliding all around the platforms, was pretty cool. Other than that this was kinda boring, censorship unnecessary, felt like half the episode was dying people in the shadows.
Really cool show idea, but feels forced at times. We'll see how it plays out, maybe it'll get stronger as it goes along.
I may be pretty fucked up by saying this: But I wonder why Ganta hasn´t become someone´s bitch.
Enjoyable episode, that Dog Race was pretty interesting, I would love to know what Shiro is. I mean, she clearly gets physical damage and could probably die, why does she protect this little wimp so much?
'"Hearts, you say? You Humans are always so quick to speak of such things. As though you carry your hearts in the very palms of your hands. But this eye of mine perceives all. There is nothing that it overlooks. If this eye cannot see a thing, then it does not exist. That is the assumption under which I have always fought. What is this "heart"? If I tear open that chest of yours, will I see it there? If I smash open that skull of yours, will I see it there?4th Espada
The whole dog race scene was really cool! I too am wondering just who exactly is Shiro? I get the feeling she knew Ganta when they were younger. And I'm not sure how I feel about this other guy hanging around with Ganta, You. He seems a little shady, but we'll see.
This show is making zero sense. I'm skeptical that the plot for this can be fleshed out in 12 episodes. It'll be action packed, I'm sure. I'm wondering how long it will be until the Captain fan service starts.
I am thinking the candy is the poison. Prisoners are scared to do something about nothing. They can play games to get money (but risk being killed), if they win enough money for candy, they buy and eat the candy without knowing the candy is the poison.
