As you all know, this club is about Japanese movies. Now, I'm having some trouble finding a certain movie that I'm just dying to see and the movie is called "Ranbou to Taiki" (Eng is apparently "Vengeance can Wait"). I hope that someone can find it =] It'd also help if it had English subtitles.
here's a link to a trailer and a synopsis of the movie Ranbou to Taiki

also, might as well keep this thread as a "Help Find Any Japanese Movie Thread," right?

PS: I also checked all of the usual sites for it

I've checked asiantorrents, adc and karagarga. Didn't find anything.

According to amazon.jp the DVD will be released on May 11.

Hello everyone,

I'm searching for the movie "Lessons from a Calf" by Hirokazu Koreeda.
It's probably his first movie ever (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0236515/).
Problem is: I can't find it anywhere.
I checked ebay and googled a bit but no results.
Also no results at play-asia, cdjapan, yesasia and other similar websites.

I don't write Japanese so I can't search on the Japanese side of the internet.
If anyone can find it on a Japanese website: please let me know!

The original title on imdb is: "Mou hitotsu no kyouiku - Ina shogakkou haru gumi no kiroku"
But that's a bit long so I'm not sure.

Does anyone know where to find it?

Conditions:
-DVD
-English subtitled
-New/Not second-hand

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

bananapills

did a quick search of some Japanese sites, haven't turned up much. seems it was a TV documentary screened on Fuji TV NONFIX; only 47mins in length. looked at NONFIX's website but there didn't seem to be much either. there was a Kore'eda documentary box in the works a few years ago which collected some of his earlier TV documentaries, but as far as I can tell it has fallen by the way.

by the way: 是枝裕和 (Hirokazu Koreeda) - もう一つの教育~伊那小学校春組の記録~ if you want have a browse yourself.

ADC has it, but only with chinese subs so far and only one seed currently.
Amazon.jp also has it, but once again no English subs sorry. Link to Cut

Canada 11 September 2011 (Toronto International Film Festival) seems to be the only IMDB know showing of this film in a country that speaks English/French. Since it was in Toronto there might be some English subs floating around somewhere. The only other country that it appears to have gotten a proper release is in Taiwan, hence the Chinese version on ADC most likely.

Thanks, at least you tried to find it. It's sad that's unreachable to me. It was also shown in Karlovy Vary international festival (Czech Republic) where I live, but I missed it...
