| Interesting, interesting. I'm really liking the setting so far. Hopefully he'll get some more fighting spirit later on, but not too much that he'll become all arrogant. It's as he says. Even if you have much money, why can't you just stay average? It applies to real world as well. |

| Still a bit disappointing, but I liked this ep more than the first. Mashu is pretty awesome. It was good to not have a lot of Hanabi this episode since she really annoys the heck out of me. The character designs are still unfortunate. Mashu's design isn't too bad, but.... some of them look like fanart designs. |
| Ma. Sa. Ka. Ki. Is love. Sakurai Takahiro does a great job voicing him. And Mikuni looks interesting, too. I find the battles a bit strange, but the show is really gripping. |
| Way to show extravagance/ Mikuni rides on this. A nice episode overall. This could be another great anime from noitaminA. We get to know about the black money concept and the midas bank and the whole financial district more. well the male lead is as cliche as hell, since almost always they tend to be worried about their 'assets'. 5/5 |

| That CGi is very annoying. I find that if an anime isn't in 3D, they shouldn't use CG, because mostly it's not a very nice result. |

| I'm no specialist in economy, but I believe that Midas could introduce quite a lot of money without risking inflation. For one simple reason: the Deals. The health of an economy can be measured by the amount of money flowing between people. What the financial district does is increase that flow to extremes, thus creating a healthy economy, at least within the boundaries of the district. Really liking this so far, and I have absolutely no problem with neither the CGI nor the regular animation. But then again, I am pretty liberal when it comes to art styles, and rarely dislike an anime for that: hell, I loved the style of both P&S and Madoka Magica, which are in completely opposite poles. Here's hoping they take at least one episode to show how the District came to be. |

| Man, I don't understand the industry's obsession with spineless, idealistic leads. He's basically a copy/paste of every shounen lead we've seen in the past. Hopefully, the story makes up for this.... |

I Agree with you. He just only wanted to have the average normal life with no weird interruptions. Because of his dad run away problem, he has to earn money himself while studying in university. This is the sort of character he his. Normal kid with normal life...wanna be. lulz If he was the type that would go for everything then went bad ass that would be another story. BUT i really enjoyed this episode. More than the last one. But i would've enjoyed it even more if the animation was better, but its not too bad and the story so far is very intriguing. |

| After ten minutes of episode 2 I was ready to cut my losses and completely ditch this show, but I was compelled to finish the episode because I have no life and had time. The last 10 minutes were much better. We finally got to see some natural developing intrigue and characterization. I hope the show integrates more overarching themes regarding market competition and money with the Financial District over the course of the show. Still not terribly fond of it, as about 30 out of 45 minutes have been a mess for me, but at least I see some light at the end of the tunnel. |
| i don't know why everybody keeps complaining about the animation...i'm watching in 720p (on a 1080p monitor) and i think it looks great! in fact, it's one of the reasons i love this show. is it the animation as good as some other recent shows like angel beats? no. but you can't expect every show to have beautiful animation like that. personally, i think the animation style is very well-suited to the show. i agree that the CGI is a little strange sometimes, but i certainly won't be deducting any points for it. also, the battle BGM rocks! also also, masakaki is awesome! |

Inflation is unstoppable now because all the money we have are issued by a central bank and every dollar or euro or whatever, is being given as a dept with interest to the government. At least according to the Quantity Theory of Money, the money supply has a direct proportional relationship with the Price Levels of the economy, so in this case, if the Midas Bank works like a Central Bank, constantly increasing the money supply, yes, it would cause inflation. I suppose that board they show in the Financial District with an ever increasing amount of Yens is the amount of Midas Money that is circulating along the standard Yens. If that's the case, since the monetary base is increasing, the price levels should increase too, at least if the amount of Midas Money is a significant proportion of the monetary base. If it represents, for example, 1% of the total it wouldn't have that much of an effect. Of course, the validity of that theory is questionable, there are lots of critics from other schools, but I guess that's not something to discuss in an anime forum. And since that theory is the "mainstream" theory, I suppose the guy who is doing the script for this anime will assume that theory to be true. |

| I don't know what to feel about this show. It's pretty messed up by what I have expected. Maybe it's because of the CGI or the typical male lead which I did not entirely hooked up with this series. I'll give more episodes for this. |

| So basically the financial district is a gambling place in a nother world but using real money thats my simple interpretation of it. I'd join the fnancial distrist its just gambling with large amounts basically not life threating if you lose u go bankrupt no real draw backs theats the place when u gamble. Cool anime great episode really shows how some people view the importance of money. |

That scorched earth technique was wonderfully done, and the episode was rather interesting. But for the love of God, please stop using that horrible CGI! I don't even know why it's being used half the time. Characters just pop up in CGI form in scenes where they could have easily been animated. There's no rhyme or reason for the sh*t! |

| Another weird, but interesting episode! I wasn't too impressed with the fighting scene itself, but I was still impressed with the visuals of it. Mashu seems like an interesting character, as well. Hope to see more development with her and Yoga. Looking forward to the next! |
