| Not really a phrase, but I hate it when school/SoL animes begin with parents waking up the main character because he/she is going to be late for school. Boy MC: Mom, Girl MC: Dad, and/or alarm. I also hate the, "I didn't do this because I like you or anything..." Man does that get annoying after the 34865622334th time.
