| couldn't really see too much in the classroom scene besides blood. Would have liked some ripped-off arm or something. I found Ganta's character really annoying, partially because he looks and acts exactly like Renton in early E7, when he was useless. But I liked Shiro as a killer loli. And ED by Nirgilis is cool too. I want some candy... |

| Since I never even heard of the manga before, I was a little skeptical at first. But this episode was just awesome and can probably be the best show of the season if it keeps up this pace. |

| What can I say? This was my 2nd most anticipated show of the season. and it did not disappoint. Nice to see they had a good animation budget for this. Loved every second. 5/5 This season is a huge success. |

| Been waiting for this for ages. I'm glad it didn't disappoint. I really like Hanazawa Kana for Shiro- her song was perfect. It's disappointing they used such heavy censoring, but I can see why they did. As an avid fan of the manga, this just jumped to the number one spot on my weekly anticipated shows. |

| A middle school student killed 29 people and on top of that, blowing up a classroom. Yeah right, as if he can do that. I'm shocked they actually believed he is the culprit. I let it slide assuming the court is under control and the mass is manipulated. Though, it's a really lame setting for the plot. I'll watch a couple more episode before deciding to continue to watch it or not. |

| good. and seems to follow the manga pretty closely. i don't know how they will pull of the story with only 12 episodes though. if you like this anime so far i recomend the manga which is a lot farther along |

| Um, holy fuck? Let's see... In the first five minutes some fucking flying dude blows up an entire classroom killing every student except Ganta and throws a decapitated head towards him. Holy shit. How retarded are the cops though like really. A kid killed a classroom full of 29 students with his bare hands. Yeah right. The rest is like 3x as fucking crazy. God damn so much going on. Btw I mean all this in a good way. Its just...wow. Very psychologically traumatizing lol. I think Ganta's name is a reference to Gantz..does anyone else agree? |

| Awesome. They changed a few scenes but it's still close to the manga. Kana Hanazawa's voice was very fitting. Ganta's was ED! ROMI PAKU. The censors were sorta annoying. I though my player broke down. ONLY 12 EPISODES? I hope they won't rush it too much. |

| Looks awesome, hope it has some nice twists to it. The only wtf moment i had was, how do you charge a 14 year old over mass murder of 29 fcking people, destruction of a classroom and not have any solid evidence then sentence him to death, wow.The kid would be dead himself before he could get through even 2 people. But w/e, there's no logic to it, show's gonna be awesome either way. |

| Very nice start to this Anime! I have just barely started reading the Manga, so I cannot say if it's exactly a good start in "canon" terms. But, definitely the first best first episode so far this season that I've seen! (Still waiting for Ao No Exorcist's first episode to air) :3 Anyways, yes - it's completely idiotic that Ganta has been charged for mass murder. I mean, even by some court policies that seems just unlikely and unimaginable. However, I'm sure that it will all be clear in the end of the series and or Manga. So, yeah. And, this Anime looks amazing! The budget is high which means AMAZINGNESS. And, when Ganta 'activated' (?) the jewel in his chest was the best part in my opinion. Also, music seems awesome so far. And, finally, a short series means no fillers. BONUS~ So, definitely looking forward to the rest of the series ♥ |

| Wow, the story is pretty out there so far. I definitely recognized Hanazawa's voice. Also it was nice to hear NIRGILIS singing the ending song. I was just listening to some of her music today. I will continue watching this, just to see where it goes. |
| Wow haters from the first episode. Yep this show is on the right path. ^_^ Anyways to the episode. A VERY strong start for the series and this is coming from a manga reader. While censored it was in a way that made the scene more gritty. | I really liked how it has started off so far. The censoring wasn't as harsh as other anime so thats good, and when they convicted Ganta, it had much more of an impact than the manga. Can't wait for the next episodes. |
| Haven't read the manga so I started the series without any 'comparative base'. Deadman Wonderland started off as a very interesting series, I'm going to follow this surely. It actually turned out to be better than I was expecting. The set-up 'everybody believes one boy killed 29 classmates' is a bit unbelievable, but it doesn't really bother me. I must say, I really love the animation style and character design. Characters seem to be fascinating. Makina's attitude was something I was looking for! I kind of like Shiro but I hope she doesn't make atmosphere too light-hearted... (since I'm hoping DW would turn out pretty dark series.) |

| I like the hints they give us in the ending, I hope for a complete adaption despite the fact that 13 episodes seem kind of short to me. Oh well, there's still the OVA. About the episode: Censoring was to be expected, yet I liked the voices and the soundtrack of the series. Animation was good, the slight altering of some scenes is ok, too. Overall a good first episode. |

| I was expecting censorship in this anime, but as long as it follows the manga events it will be alright. Also I noticed that in the anime they said that Tokyo was destroyed by an abnormal phenomenon called Dead Hole, whereas in the manga, it was destroyed by a high-magnitude earthquake. Seems like they changed this due to the recent earthquakes. |
