DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Looks like the first Cee-lo session is going to continue on into episode 3. Could care less about that, as that was the least interesting part of the arc. Interestingly enough, I believe I saw Kurosawa in that opening. |

And yes, there's Kurosawa in the opening: Good episode overall, the over-the-top effects and the metaphors are fucking back! About the opening, I find it has a some kind of shonen vibe in it, and I dislike the song (maybe it'll grow in me later). But god, I hate the screaming. |

You could totally heard all the exclamation marks there. Hilarious. Great episode, the tension was built smoothly and nicely. I'm a bit uncomfortable with OP (song), probably because I re-watched the first season not too long ago, but I'm pretty sure it will sound better after some more episodes/listening. ED, anyway, is my super favorite. Nothing beats that trolling beautiness. |

| He sat next to Kaiji in the OP. He's just another fukumoto character in his own manga http://myanimelist.net/manga/3575/Legend_of_the_Strongest_Man_Kurosawa ... I don't think they cross over but, it's just a cool cameo :) |
| Nice episode to follow up the first. Although I predicted the exact sequence of events from just watching a couple minutes, I liked the opening theme so much I just can't "not" give this episode a 5. 5/5 |

| Love opening. Love ending. Love anime. Best show of season, most of this season shows are unwatchable, finally something to look forward to every week. |
| I'm enjoying this season a lot more that the first one so far - I think a lot of it has to do with the nonexistence of the whiny loser characters of the first season. Man, they were annoying. |

| I dislike the auto-tuning in the OP, but I actually liked the parts with the screaming, which is rare for me. And goddamn I fucking love this series. Also, FUCK YEAH the music on Kaiji's first roll. Too bad it's so short. |

| Damn I've missed this show. :D My only regret is that I didn't wait for the entire season to be finished so that I could marathon them all in one go. I think I can handle the week to week wait. Its definitely worth it. |

It was never the actual gambling that engrossed me in this series, it's the pretty damn interesting psychological profile of a gambling addict and human nature. This series still pulls it off wonderfully, it seems. |

| Kaiji is really a total addict. I can't see a way for him to come back alive from that underground. In the first season, even when he had the upper hand, he just HAD to come up with an idea to trick the boss and in result to lose 4 of his fingers... |
