I'd like to see the comparison with other top selling CD Sales Ranking to see how well Mizuki Nana compares to mainstream sales. However, this is amazing as it already is.

After checking her page I can see she deserves it. She seems to have a very impressive vocal range. But seriously, that is mad domination. So much so that being second place really means nothing.

Excluding the almighty Mizuki Nana herself, most seiyuu seems to have below average income for a superstars of their industry. 100m yen is just 1m USD, and that just their sell not net income.

Pretty sure my local superstars who get sales in the national top 10 (of anything but anime industry, not that I have one) get paid much more than that.

Not to mention my country currency is not even that strong, average urban lunch is below 150 yen (under1.7 USD)

Well, that's why they have multiple work fronts and don't live solely from their singing. You are comparing them with full-time singers who live entirely from their albums and concerts. Seiyuu's and idols in general are a sort of jack of all trades that basically dips on everything. Plus, don't they ussually just release singles? Seems like that would make it harder to earn huge amounts of cash since they're cheaper.

Thanks for that. As a seiyuu, Mizuki Nana seems to be doing rather well in terms of mainstream sales I guess, however not as well. Anything to do with her being a seiyuu? Perhaps.

$14 Million, eh? Depending on how much she gets from royalties, she could be close to being a millionaire by now. She could probably make a living from her singing career alone and it might explain why she's not as involved in the VA industry as she used to be anymore.

The others can only dream of getting that far, though some of them are relatively newcomers and could still become more famous over time.

She has a very powerful singing voice, though, so I can't say she doesn't deserve it.
