Anyway, beating up sizzling steak pigs with punches and kicks? It must be PETA's and ethical vegetarian's worst nightmare. :P I liked the concept in the beginning, but it's looking like a typical Shounen Jump material aimed at kids to me... -_- |

| Technically the first half of the crossover special is Toriko ep 1 and the second half is One Piece ep 492... But that's just confusing, considering that the second half is a direct continuation.. |

| That was OK, I didn't enjoy it way too much. I don't think it gives a good impression of the shows, I will watch Toriko (and read it) but not because of this special. Overall, it had a few funny points, but it was almost like a chore to finish the entire thing. A pretty interesting twist at the end though... |
| This was a good introductory episode. I do prefer the darker animation style that was present in the OVA though, as well as the colours used when Toriko was powering up. Looking forward to a canon episode. |
| Are they trying to make this like the next big shounen or something? It seems like that's what they are trying to achieve by using some of the One Piece fame. Anyway this whole special was stupid so i'll have to watch a few normal episodes to judge. The guy does seem ridiculous though.Luffy is rubber man and he looks normal in-frond of this guy. Btw this guys blown stomach is ugly, he seems like a pregnant woman. |
| It was pretty funny. No real plot except watching Luffy and Toriko fight and eat. Which was entertaining enough for how long it was. It did give a good preview for the seiyuus in Toriko. They all seem like the right fit. This special did get me excited for Toriko actually starting next week! |
| knife and fork attack??!! LOL The collaboration was ok but it isn't that great.. The opening reminds me of DB and Toriko reminds me of Goku.. the manga is popular, I hope it is good well, Toriko seems interesting, maybe I'll watch it. I bet I'll be hungry watching it |

| Knowing that One Piece and the Toriko Special are both more brutal than this, I can only hope Toriko will maintain that brutality when it starts airing. This seemed a bit dumbed down and I was hoping for some more flashy moves and things to get people interested but, eh. I liked it because I think Toriko has potential to be my favorite character ever. They just need to animate that Nail Punch so it looks godly. |

| I watch some random One Piece eps sometime ago but I didn't followed it coz it's already far to catch up. Though I really wanted to watch it. The episode was ok. Will follow this unless it's starting to get boring or something. |

| Lol was pretty fun especially the second half, first not so much, Luffy and Toriko is quite the team too bad this was before Luffy got the "Gears" ^^ But not enough Zoro and Ussop ): Well it wasn't as good as the OVA but it was pretty good, hopefully we'll have a better introduction to the other characters later on... And why did they use the One Piece OP for the ED O.o :PP Looking forward to this series =) |

| The collaboration page is actually deleted, and mine was denied because MAL said that the special was actually the first episode. So, I guess when it comes out onto DVD, it's going to confuse a LOT of DVD buyers of Toriko and One Piece in NA. |

| Not the best way to start an anime. I mean, it was fun and all, but using One Piece to shamelessly sell Toriko should be something left to Jump Festa or a theatrical movie, not official episodes of both series At least Nami's boobs looked fantastic in this special. Then again, when do they not? |
