| I was totally surprised when today while taking books from the library I found "Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynne Jones(1986)... Why isn't there a reference to the book. I started reading it as soon as I left the library, and so far it'sd even better...it explains many things the anime didn't have time to show :P |

| Dude, I loved this book so much when I was a little kid. I found it in the library one day and read the entire thing when I was like 8-9. I reread it like three times too. Is the anime anything like the book? Because if it is then I'm definitely gonna watch it |

I recommend you watch it, I believe you won't be sorry ;) Of course no adaptation can be as great as its original, so prepare for many loses and missed things. (you're still in advantage since you read the book) |

| Yeah, after read the book and re-watch, it help me to understand the story. But if I read the book first, I'm not sure I could understand the book since the story is... so jumpy. |
| oh man when I read the book (it was years after I've seen the anime) I was like : why the hell they didn't animate so many things? the book has a LOT more to offer than the anime imo. I love both but the book is just another whole world that u can get lost in it. |
