| Manga is definitely more brutal, considering they actually show gore, ex. Mami's death ;_; Also, DAT FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. I find them really horrifying, reminds me of Higurashi. |

| Wow, Kyuubey and Sayaka actually looked scary in manga. Those expressions is the best thing about manga. ^^ |

| I don’t feel bad for Sayaka. It is a shame what happened to her, but it was an outcome she ran headlong into. She refused help when she desperately needed it and admitted that she was intentionally walking a path of self-destruction. The only defense I accept for her is that she is young and made a mistake, unfortunately one mistake can end everything. I can’t find much fault with Kyubey. He intentionally withheld information concerning the nature of being a magic girl, but he did make it clear that they would have to fight witches forever; knowing the details would not have changed the validity of that statement. The tragedy is only occurring because the magic girls are letting it happen. If they did exactly what they were doing before they learned that information, I doubt there would be any problems. I would say that it would be extremely unnerving to learn that the catwalk you’re walking on has no handrail and it is a long fall to the floor, but that doesn’t mean you have to jump off because you learn that. |
Listen to this song, it gives more meaning to this chapter/episode. Poor Sayaka. |
