| Just finished this anime today and I was quite impressed by how well the story of this series is structured as a whole. If you were to rate the series halfway through the season, it would be mediocre at best. But the way they tie up the series and as it slowly begins to get darker and darker, you cant help but be impressed by all the foreshadow that was already laid down. This series is far superior IMO to the popularly compared "School Days" showing how a dark heavy topic theme can work. School days is silly because you establish characters with certain characteristics and then they do a 180 out of the blue...also having a crazy twist ending just to have a crazy twist ending doesnt help. Myself Yourself kept a sense of realism each character had that I think anyone could relate to in the real world where I felt "school days" just slowly plunged into this unrealistic turn of events with absolutely no message that you can take away from it. So thats what I think about the 2 and I hope more people could check out myself yourself because it is a great 13 episode series. |
