| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Really funny episode, lots of Mitsuba fat moments. The father was looking really sharp as hell in the flashback when the triplets were little. Nice end to the series, the beginning got me concerned, but the show delivered at the end. Overall 10/10 |

| Didn't even realize there were only eight episodes this season.. It was a great way to finish, very adorable. Gave me a good laugh, though not happy with why it ended with 8.. |

| well.. i dont enjoy season 2 very much like the first. but the last episode is quite a good one, and a little bit touching. cant believe the triplets would do that. more episodes are always welcomed 7/10 |

| Great episode. Outside of the first 'okay' episode this was another hilarious season. lol @ poor Hitoha sneezing over the signature. The baton race was hysterical, the 'gamble' with the potato seller funny and the last part touching. And we're getting a special episode, Hoorah! |

| Barring the first episode, this series has been really good - not as consistently hilarious as the first, but still a bloody good watch. Can't wait for the special now, and hoping (and praying) for a third series! |

| AAAaah, I want MORE. I love Mitsudomoe - it's the funniest comedy anime I've ever watched with adorable characters. Probably it's so funny because I recognize myself in the characters XD Well. One thing for sure, I'm going to buy the manga series. :3 |

| If not for the first few repeated-ish episodes in the season, this was a really fantastic season of Mitsudomoe. Even better than some of the early episodes of the first one, even. It's too bad they left it rather conclusively, although it was done rather well. For the time being, I'll have to give it a 7/10 for the boring first few episodes and emphasis on the Gachi Ranger nonsense. |

| Omg, the translation from CrunchyRoll was pretty horrible. (which is not so surprising...) For instance, why would someone translate futomomo as a "crotch" when it means thigh? I mean even if Hitoha is straight looking at a pair of thighs, not the Gachiranger's crotch.. | It took Hitoha this long to finally explain to Yabecchi that she likes the Gachi Rangers. I really liked how they ended the series. Showing how they never change from being how they were when they were little. |

| Over already. If there is another season I definitely want to see an episode where Soujirou works out and looks like what he used to. Overall an ok series for laughs. |

| Wow, 8 weeks have gone by fast. Sad to see this go, as it gave me a lot of laughs in the past 2 months. This episode, despite being the final one, dI idn't let up on all the jokes. Best segment would for me would probably be Hitoha finally clearing up the misunderstandings with Yabecchi, followed by the relay race. Overall a good watch. Also, I broke out a few squeals at how adorable the triplets were when they were young. Very nice way to end the season. (I refuse to say end of the series! XD) |

"Crotch" is more intimate, personal, and obviously inappropriate for someone to be staring at, leading into Hitoha's next line about being a stalker, or "pervert" if you want to be anal about translation. In Japanese, "Idol" means quite something different than in English so using that isn't wise. They changed it something with the same spirit; a person who doesn't fart because they're fictional (Japanese idols' public personas being only marginally less fictional than characters in a TV show). Translation is about maintaining spirit, not word-for-word accuracy. If you want to argue that CrunchyRoll subs are bad, you'll need to do more than just say that it isn't a totally literal translation. I really enjoyed their subs for this series, myself. A more literal translation from a fansubber would never have given me the wonderful phrase "shrimpy little ghoul". |

According to wikipedia, there are ten tankoubon volumes that have been published http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsudomoe(manga)#Manga Now each Tankoubon volume has about 20 chapters in it. I know it's alot, but they each are short, generally less than ten pages. http://i10.mangareader.net/mitsudomoe/20/mitsudomoe-1456005.jpg Thus there are about 200 chapters of Mitsudomoe current published. Now 4-5 of these chapters are animated each episode, and I am gonna assume 5 chapters per episode for simplification purposes. Season 1 + Season 2 = 12 + 8 = 20 episodes total, which implies 100 chapters have been animated So as you can see, only half of the current Mitsudomoe material has been animated. Which of course begs the question: Why such a short season with 8 episodes? |

Because the first season sold like shit, and they announced the second season before the first even ended. When they saw the sales for the first season, they were probably like "Well, this sucks. We won't make this season 13 episodes, cause no one's going to buy it anyway." That's probably why we didn't get 13 episodes. |

| Not a very good ep to go out on in my opinion. I didn't really laugh all that much save the baton pass segment. I did really like the last part, a nice way to end the series. And i for one do hope that it's over, it didn't hold up to the first season at all, and i'm afraid of what a third might do. |
