When Sawako finally realized that maybe she didn't explain it very good, Kazehaya has to ignore her, so now it's going to be hard for her to talk to him.

Go, Kurumi, go! i do wish she had a bigger role, hey, maybe a whole season of Kurumi awesomeness!

And Ryu telling Sawako to talk more, so much pun.

But seriously, EVERYBODY else knows what went down but why is NOBODY telling them, "hey, stooopid you got it wrong!"?! Fer cryin out loud, even Pin knows! Even the random dudes in the background know. Even clueless Kento knows. There's a mighty sadistic streak in that school.

exactly but i cant wait for next week for this gigantic missunderstanding to clear up XD

I honestly think Pin saves this anime from becoming frustrating, depressing, and annoying. I hate having to watch the continuation of this stupid misunderstanding. It seems really unrealistic, no matter how sugar coated the story really is. I understand it's based on fiction, but the fact that this particular type of misunderstanding is still going on makes it bothersome to watch. I hope we get some progression in the next few episodes! Looking forward to the next!

OK... seriously, this is getting old now. It's just like first season, only with Kento. Unfortunately, I think we've seen all we will see with Kento, so now Kimi ni Todoke has this problem of being redundant again. It's like they are doing this on purpose (to prolong the misunderstanding) just so they can milk the profits.

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

This episode was incredibly rich in character interactions and most likely will be my favorite one in regards to the riches that Kurumi brought including my favorite that also satisfied me towards what Kento got from Kurumi,

that slap was pure joy. Now I can rest easy with Kento having received some form of punishment. Pin was also the one who mostly made me laugh in the whole episode.

About Kurumi, she was great this episode. I guess her ways of eavesdropping on Kazehaya's conversation with Ryuu never stopped in terms of her stalking of Kazehaya. That changed quickly into a frustration upon hearing Sawako rejecting him, of course this all being a misunderstanding. Shown beautifully in the spoiler
from her expressive face, which is another good show of her character this episode. What was interesting when they showed this angle with Kurumi/Sawako's conversation is that it was meant to look close yet they are deep down very apart. I could not believe that Kurumi's frustratingly anger pushed her in a aggressive stance that grabbed Sawako's mouth firmly. That was obviously meant as that mouth being useless in expressing properly things. Ah damn it Sawako, this time you made Kurumi cry. That's not cool. I still wonder if it was done purely on her frustrating mood during that conversation or Sawako's action were a direct problem in that. Regardless Sawako made her cry out due to the events triggered by her. Frankly I was not surprised that Sawako got Kurumi's cold look after she made her cry out and be aggressive with her. No surprise there Sawako.

Comes the 2nd best part with Kurumi, the confrontation at the vending machine a trio of Kento/Ayane/Chizuru. Kurumi obviously was trolling Ayane/Chizuru pretty well with a evil intent based on the background offered. It did not take long after for Ayane to go aggressive on her too, which she defended against pretty well. Kento's offer to meddle landed him a slap that satisfied me very much.

About Sawako, oh dear she created more misunderstanding by being quiet and she has to fix that ASAP. Sawako was kind of in between jumpy to moody. She completely what looks to freak out on Kurumi from pronouncing of not being a rival anymore to her. Of course she misunderstood that from Kurumi, turning it into Kurumi being aggressive towards her with most likely frustration being a factor. One thing that passed through my mind while she was with her parents is that I wonder why does she not talk to her parents about her love towards Kazehaya? Certainly it might be a good solution for her to get some introspective. Certainly her Chizuru's cellphone message is cute. It had some ghosts in it (probably refers to Sawako's haunting aspect), a face expression and thumbs up. Now that is a nice variation. Sawako's expressions never seem to be better after being sad for some time to smile once again. It was also nice to see her parents interacting together and mention Shiitake, which I looked upon here. Interesting to find out more about it.

The next 2 parts are what I find a good development with Sawako. First there is Sawako's interaction with Chizuru. Sawako acknowledging Chizuru's words as happiness and getting a embarrassed expression from Chizuru was great. I like Sawako's face as she is saying it was her first time someone liked her and the embarrassing one she had after saying it was very comedic. Both were wonderful as Chizuru laughed it off and everyone knows that's when she looks the best. Sawako was really clueless about why Kurumi was cold to her since she expressed in a shock. I guess she never realized it really how much she hurt Kurumi and surprisingly I believe it was a first time she really did so in this episode. I don't know if it's me but there seemed to be a lot of face close ups in regards to the eyes but extreme zoom in Sawako's eyes definitely magnified her small change within that part. Comes the second part that blew me off yet was refreshing in the spoiler
Ryuu actually saying to Sawako to be more talkative. Wow, Ryuu way to go for a first! Amazing really although not much, it was very meaningful. I kind of liked how they showed Kazehaya fading away from Sawako's vision having his back turned. It did very well to show Sawako's thinking of losing him as well as they portrayed her nicely being alone during her thinking. The included flashback from first season was just terrific as it reminded me of a very emotional part. In the end it was good to see Sawako thinking very seriously about all her actions and to what it amounted to.
Rest in spoiler
About preview, episode 8 title looks promising as it features the last word of this series that of Todoke (to you). A rather strong reference that I hope will turn around and make me astonish as did Kurumi in this episode. That being said looks to me like more Pin win comedy again. I will be looking forward to it.

I think the same thing. Looking at the manga their is A LOT of content in this chapter with a lot of scene changes; if they tried to do it quickly in the anime it would be pretty schizophrenic. The preview for Episode 7...

I don't get why people rage about this and pushing them to confess already... If they've done that episodes ago, it will be all cheesy romance stuff in the rest of the episodes... + making babies(optional) =. =

I found it a better resolution if they went through pain first before they have a happy ending xDD I like it, they succeeded making us emotional xDD

lol, same here. I was like ' ohh you so deserved that!' haha shame

And every time time Kazehaya says that he " got rejected " i always flinch.
And i was sooo glad that Ryu said that' she doesn't have enough words" that really was strongly meaningful. I must say that even thought Ryu doesn't seem to say much, i think that he doesn't really need to since he says that most significant things, and he really backs Kazehaya up, being with him when he need to talk.
Yumekichi11: "I kind of liked how they showed Kazehaya fading away from Sawako's vision having his back turned. It did very well to show Sawako's thinking of losing him"
I totally agree with you -nods head-
ARHH! Why did Pin say "just give up on her"! Noooo! Dont encourge Kazehaya stuff like that. HmmP!
i am very happy that Sawako is really taking a big step up about saying her feelings to Chizu-chan.I found that this episode had a major improvement for Sawako, how she is thinking that from other peoples perspective that they dont clearly understand her. And her talking with Chizu helped her understand that words like " thank you for today after school" can make a difference, with the help of Ayane confirming that to her,"...after hearing you SAY that". I am so grateful that Sawako is starting to understand that she needs to talk, " Did i tell him?" Yay~ she realizing that herself now ! and she ADMITS that shes not really 'tiring hard' enough to get her feeling REACHING him.I am also looking forward to the next episode , how it relates to the anime's title.
:))) ( Go kurumi, this ep showed a different side of her ;))

Finally Eclipse released its episode and finally I can comment.

Kurumi. She always gives me such ambivalent feelings but I have to admit that she earned several more points with me in this episode. I agree with everything that she said to Sawako but what impressed me the most was her decision to act because she saw that Kazehaya was hurt. In other words, more than all of her scheming, that act alone was able to persuade me that she must truly and sincerely love Kazehaya. It even made me feel a pang of regret (again) for her loss. Anyway, she raised a good point with Sawako when she asked her what side of Kazehaya is she seeing. I think that is something that Sawako definitely needs to consider because she’s always had Kazehaya on a pedestal and that is most likely the main reason why she feels inferior to him. Yet, I can think of at least two times in the past when Kazehaya told Sawako that he’s not the person that she thinks he is and he even listed his faults. Well, hopefully this will be something for Sawako to ponder until she finds her own answer.

Pin. This guy…this guy is so amusing yet he has this uncanny way of slipping in some very good advice halfway through his teasing. Yes, Kazehaya, now you also have something very important to think about.

I think my most favorite scene of this episode is the scene with Sawako, Chizu-chan and Ayane-chan in the hallway. It was such a touching scene and it even made me shed a tear or two. Sawako telling them that when she made friends with them it was the first time that she felt like she was being loved really tugged on my heart strings. I really love their friendship.

Finally, I’m glad that Ayane-chan pointed out to Kento just how irresponsible and inappropriate his behavior has been and that it actually had a consequence. Up until that moment, it was blatantly clear to me that it was something that he had utterly failed to grasp. I concur with every single thing that Ayane-chan said, which is also what I’ve been saying all along (Hmm! Ayane and I must think alike). In the manga, this scene occurred a little differently because Ayane did not say all those things to Kento. All she told Kento was to leave Kazehaya and Sawako alone because his interference turned everything into a mess. The anime extended Ayane-chan’s conversation with Kento. Personally I’m glad that the anime script writers chose to have Ayane-chan explicitly sum up Kento’s behavior hitherto because I’m almost certain that such a conclusion would have been lost on some, if not clearly stated. I’m also glad that she basically confirmed what I have been thinking all along that Kento, while his intentions might have been good, his motive was more or less steeped in self-gratification. He was trying to make himself into Sawako’s rescuer without even seeing Sawako for who she truly is or even trying to get to know her. Hopefully now that Ayane-chan’s words seem to be sinking in, he will begin to treat and respect the feelings of those whom he hurt with the seriousness that they deserve. Hopefully he would also learn that the next time he wants to interfere in the lives of others he should at least get his facts straight before walking into the situation as blindly and as completely unaware as he did in Sawako's situation.

Right...

This is what I really find frustrating in people sometimes.

After 7 eps, Infinite Stratos:
person A: Oh so they finally thought of moving the plot ahead, they took their time.
person B: Indeed, and then they want to cram everything in the remaining eps.

After 7 eps, Kimi ni Todoke 2:
person C: Oh so they finally thought of moving the plot ahead, they took their time.
person D: You're the only one that thought of that.

WTF??? I mean seriously, I actually liked the first season, but this season was NOTHING like the first. They were DELIBERATELY delaying it. Had what happened in ep 6-7 happened in ep 4-5 then it wouldn't have been "delayed" too long, but they kept on dragging it like it's a soap opera on television....although admittedly it's main demographic target usually watches soap operas on tv anyway...

TBF though I only said dropped in this thread, although in the previous ep's thread I did say "it would be dropped depending on what happens next ep"

Pin is a troll LOL.

As much I dislike Kurumi, I nearly cried when she snapped at Sawako. I was hoping she'd do something to try and help and make Sawako understand that she's not trying hard enough. I respect Kurumi a bit now. It takes a lot of will power and guts to do what she did since she also likes Kazahaya. That shit is really hard to do. She totally gets my respect.

Although Kazehaya needs to not ignore Sawako like nothing happened :/ As hurt as he is, he's being a little bit of a douche. I really hope Sawako tells him in the next ep how she really feels.

I guess i'm the only one who still dislikes Kurumi. Isn't she the main reason of the misunderstandings? She tricked Sawako so that she wouldn't give Kazehaya the chocolates. She made her suspect herself. I like Kento because he didn't try to break them up. He just wanted to help. The things he did wrong, he did them unintentionally. But Kurumi, the evil witch planned everything so that she could prevent any development between Kazehaya and Sawako. I find her very dishonest about the things she did and said in this episode.

Hopefully the next episode straightens things out. :) I can understand sawako has some social and communicating problems, but now that she realizes that she needs to clearly get her feelings across, the next episode will move forward in a positiv way. I was surprised when Ayane mentioned to Muira how outsiders shouldn't get involved, I felt sad for him standing in the halleway, but I also love Ayane for telling Miura that because i'm sure he needed to know. Excited for the confession.
