| A large amount of private messages have been archived. Any unread messages newer than 1 month were saved in the current database. I will likely have an option some time in the future to see these archived messages if you want to save them. Mass club PMing has been disabled for the time being. I'm going to rewrite how it works. Update: You can (for a limited time) view your archived messages. Get any data you want out of them. Update 2: All archived messages will be removed at 11:59pm PST tonight (June 10th). |

| Personally I'd rather of had my messages deleted than archived where I can't get to them. Actually, if I'd heard of the change I would have just deleted them myself. |

| While I don't care personally, seeing as I don't use PMs and don't care to save messages people send me, such short notice is rather questionable. This is an international site, and many people from around the world will be sleeping, working, at school etc before midnight PST when the archive is deleted. It's a very small window for people to be able to save their messages. A couple days notice (for people who don't check the site every day) might have been more appropriate. But if PMs were the reason for the massive lag recently, then I suppose it can't be helped. Also, people who keep important stuff in PM only have themselves to blame, really. =p But yeah. I feel sorry for those who missed this brief window to save their PMs. |
