Visual Novel - Take her or refuse

So, I just signed up, thought I'd ask people here a question about the route of my all time favorite female character.

When Mai's H-scene is imminent, what do you prefer? Do you initiate it or refuse?

While I find that both scenes are quite emotional, I prefer to refuse, as it makes Yuuichi a much more sensible character in that he sees what Mai really needs from the start. I also find it quite a bit more romantic and emotional.

I find that if you take her, you feel guilty because of why she asked you to do it so I prefer not taking her as well (got to complete the CG gallery though :D).
