| The anime is adapting the manga chapters in no particular order and some episodes are fillers. Examples *Episode 18 (Shinobu challenges Ikuto in a match) is adapted from manga chapters 44 - 46 *Episodes 19-20 (Beniyasha - Detective episode) are adapted from manga chapters 40 - 42 *Episode 22 (Blue Bird) comes from manga chapter 31 *Episode 23 (Forcing Suzu to go to school) comes from manga chapters 38 - 39 So, we can see in the examples that Episode 18 = Chapters 44 - 46 Episode 19 & 20 = Chapters 40 - 42 Episode 22 = Chapter 31 Episode 23 = Chapters 38 - 39 If you finished the anime, you can proceed to read chapter 48 (my personal recommendation). For a full experience though, I would recommend you to read the manga from the beginning since a lot of stuff in the earlier chapters are not adapted in the anime. |
