The winners for 2010's Shougakukan Manga Awards in each category are as follows:

General
Yamikin Ushijima-kun by Shohei Manabe (Smuggler, The End)
Uchuu Kyoudai by Chuuya Koyama

Shounen
King Golf by Ken Sasaki

Shoujo
Oooku by Fumi Yoshinaga (Antique Bakery, Gerard & Jacques)

Children
Yumeiro Pâtissière by Natsumi Matsumoto (Alice Kara Mahou, Sei Dragon Girl)

I have to read Ooku. Good for Yumeiro, I guess. Haven't even heard of the others.

Ooku sounds pretty interesting, I'll probably end up reading that... It's just that Shounen Ai tag that kinda chases me off a little.

King Golf? wow, they really must be running out of ideas.....well if it worked for Adam Sandler, I guess it'll work for young Japanese kids as well

Don't care about golf but Ooku looks interesting for a shoujo, i'll read it as i don't really read any shoujo atm. Oh and Yamikin Ushijima-kun also looks nice.
