Looks like he actually cared for her which is kinda nice. :)

That woman is scary when she wants to, but even creepier is the place where they went for her to sell her technology on texhnolization? Anyway, pretty awesome episode, Ichise is turning into quite the lethal weapon.

I liked this episode, Ichise actually showed that he cares for the doc. That makes three, Onishi, Ran and Doc that he cares about. I think they are lovers now. :)

Ahaha xD Sounds almost like a massive orgy orgy.

Talking about sexuality... I'm not sure who is making out with who on some parts. Or rather... everyone is just sexing with everyone when they feel like it o-o;;

Great episode, the action part was really well done, simple, but well done. :)
So the Doc wanted to go back home, go back to the class?

It's nice to see that Ichise cares for the Doc. I can't wait to see these weirdo's behind that big wall. Or is it just 'weirdo'? That thing can't be his real sister, right?

Also, the story has been moving this whole time. Stop saying "finally" whenever someone shoots someone else. The show is slow-paced. Stop complaining about it. Do you want the whole plot shown within the first three episodes?

Could be, but if what ran says is true, then he will either lose her or she will die.

The hot doc can be creepy sometimes and then immensely vulnerable the next. I'm surprised at how despite how much she takes advantage of Ichise, he still cares about her enough to "help her out".

I'm really curious about the Class and specially those that live on the other side of the wall. This anime has been exceptionally good at keeping mysteries, without resorting to overexposition or cryptic dialogue.

Ichise protecting someone; thinking about others before him. Good development on his part.

That was some pretty sweet early 2000's CGI. I can imagine how Madhouse was really hyped about that shitty looking orb.

But oddly enough I felt that roughness only made it more frightening.

So basically the people on the other side of that wall (Doc's hometown I think?) have achieved more texhnolyzation than Lux it seems...

Its interesting that Ichise is caring for more and more people as he continues developing. First Ran, then Onishi, and now the doctor. I feel like they just made a blank character at the beginning of the series which they molded into this great character that they have now.

Finally, an episode which shows the advanced technology the Class holds, besides their monopolisation of Raffia and the Texhnolyze technology. The technocracy is strong in this episode, especially with reference to the whole idea of Texhnolyzation in this anime after all. (Well, Texhnolyze is the title after all.) The fact that Lux is run by scientific people above the 'hill' and Gabe being the total opposite - the dichotomy presents within itself an irony of sorts.

This episode touched on events regarding Doc's past and her role as a mediator between the "lesser beings" of Lux and Class' recent motives regarding Lux. Clearly, things are moving underground, and Doc just doesn't clearly see that she is in deep danger, naively believing that she is important to the Class and is 'protected'. Wonder what she will do from now on - now that she realises that she is nothing but a disposable pawn.

While it is observable that the level of thinking for viewers has significantly toned down since episode 11 to pave way for direct dialogue and explanations - the overall message is still left in obscurity, something which really tempts me to continue on with this series. Hope they continue on at a similar pace, for greater development and hopefully, emphasis placed on the Rakan - an interesting third-party into all of the events.

It's funny how i've already gave them the status of "god" or of something that is above the human capacity, just because they seem so mysterious and advanced.

I must admit, I was disappointed. This wasn't a bad episode, but it wasn't as good as any of the previous ones. The action sequence at the end just did not fit in the series. This is an intense dialogue driven show. Doc's dialogues seemed somewhat mundane and expected. The episode failed to capture the gloominess the rest of the show had, and felt as if it was made just to liven things up.

Ichise is digestible as a character when he thinks more clearly. I personally like Doc the best so far, so I'm glad to see more of her.

Still a pretty average episode, though.

Ah, so it seems the doc actually does like him instead of him just being one of her kinks. Was interesting that she was actually jealous when Ichise seemed to care what would happen to Onishi if she left. Also interesting that Ichise seems to be showing some emotion towards her.

Ichise's feelings on being forced to have sex with people is...complicated. It seems he doesn't necessarily enjoy it, but maybe he doesn't dislike it either? Rather, to him, sex is just...whatever.

I knew it. That fucking rat was a metaphor for Ichise's status since the beginning. Right after he gets the final upgrade Doc releases it. He's evolved lol

Onishi's had some noticeable development, I mean, he was talking down all over Ichise in the first ep and now he's chill with him. And then there's Doc, who like works for the Class but is also a double agent for the Organo or something. That plot point about the scrapped parts is probably important for something later on

1. the conflict between Doc and our mysterious antagonist is not so much about who got the most advanced technology but how exactly this technology should lead to human evolution, and Doc's philosophy is completely cast aside as useless for whatever plans that man has for Lukuss
2. I always liked the final shot of Ichise and Doc together slowly backing off into full picture; they're amidst this lifeless lab and there's this ominous background sound, but Ichise, even against the omen cast by Ran, still believes that as long as they're alive there's a way
