| Wow, did not like the ending at all!! So freaking mad! The last episode was basically like a filler episode no real plot or character development. It was so boring just watching him play his games throughout the whole episode . . It made me real mad that I wasted time. . .the whole series was real good up until the very end. . hope the second season makes up for it. . .If I didn't watch the last episode then I would've gave it a 9 but now I have dropped it to a 7. . . *sigh* so disappointed. . .I'm real sad. . |

| man there is a lot of Dragon Ball reference in anime this season I wonder what is that? Keima and his games are something else! I think he got all different kind and plays them simultaneously I am impressed! I wish at least he would know how to sing >.< |

| Beginning of the episode was funny where he came out of his room looking like the undead and Elsea slapped his cheeks. Also Keima's gaming habit is just INSANE like seriously he is just too intense but his room was sooo awesome. I say that as a tech junkie and not a game lover even though I do enjoy playing games. I just thought this was a weird way to end this season and the ending was sucky and weird as well, plus Keima's logic is super screwed up. I probably will watch season 2 just for the heck of it and to see who this other demon is, I'm thinking Elsea's onee-sama? Anyway it was an okay show for me. |

| I really liked the way he treats the games as well as his talk with Elsea about him not going out and how he enjoys his life the way it is etc. Really reflects myself actually, being a lot like him except I play real games and I watch anime too and don't go out much at all. Also, lol at him shouting the sponsor ads at the end. |

| Hmmm.... this episode just didn't work with me. Till now I could understand Keima's character a little, but this just portrayed how deep he's really screwed up. I mean - I was a hard gamer myself in my teenage years, but of course not to this degree. I would have liked to see him develop a sense of balance between real life and gaming for once. At least a hint of sense. But instead it was insanity times madness. Personally I really deeply dislike the message the producers are giving hardcore dating-gamers out there, especially in Japan. It's like their promoting drug abuse. "Hey, even if you're doing it in extreme levels and it's affecting your health - as long as you're passionate about it and satisfied, you're fine as you are - keep going." I believe that's WRONG and results in people shutting themselves away from real life even more. Keima only believes he is fully satisfied, because he never learned to embrace the joys of reality or understand the benefits of NOT being set on multiple-choice routes. How can he realy judge life, if he hasn't lived? Sure, I may be too uptight and should take the episode with humor - but I bet in Japan many isolated lonely gaming fans relate to Keima and instead of giving them a mild lesson, they literally kiss up to them and give them a joyful relieving "screw reality" ending that gives them a TOTALLY UNDESERVED warm fuzzy feeling. ::laughs:: |

| I find that this show in general could be better, but ending is what I expected, nothing more than a filler. The "God of Conquest" mode was cool, but it should have been more in-depth and leave with a cliff-hanger for season two. 6/10 |

| I want Keima's room!! The show entertained me enough, but it doesn't make me want to go and read the manga, though with most people saying the manga is far better, I might actually do that. Still, that's thanks to 'people' rather than the anime. |

| Wow really seems like everyone either hated or loved this ending. personally I was really glad they extended the capturing god chapter into a whole episode, it really had me laughing throughout. the nod to classic gaming was much appreciated, especially that subtle line about older games had more substance and were meant to be enjoyed slowly. as for those having a problem with it seeming to glorify his addiction, really they showed both sides of it this episode. Elsee's argument is the common view of most non-gamers, although quite well expressed, and for awhile there during the random outdoors conversation, it really felt like they were trying to say that what he was doing was wrong. Of course, it also presents keima's (warped?) view as well, which is really the actual truth. Whatever you enjoy in life is what you should be doing, not what other people think you should be doing. Every hobby is equal in the eyes of the person who likes it, it's all a matter of perspective. Telling a gamer to stop playing and do something worthwhile is like walking up to a fan of music genre A and telling him his music sucks and he should listen to genre B because it's actually worthwhile. It's all the same in the end. ok lets get off that tangent... the trollsong at the end had me facepalming, but it was one of those facepalms with a grin plastered over your face like "oh my god what is this shit rofll" and wow, theyre really hyping haqua, huh? can't wait for the 2nd season to start! |
