The Mac App Store launches on Jan 6th of next year which will allow me to easily distribute and expose this program to the Mac Community. Since MAL Updater OS X does not use private frameworks and it's at the final version, it will most likely to pass Apple App Store guidelines. By adding this to the Mac App Store, it will give the program more exposure and also make it simple for people to install and update the program without any additional steps needed.

However, I cannot dish out $99 since I don't have the funds to do so (I'm still in college and I don't work yet). The only way this can happen if I add advertisements on the program, charge for the program while keeping the source code available or donate that amount.

The poll is on the blog post here: http://malclientdev.chikorita157.com/2010/12/21/mal-updater-os-x-and-the-mac-app-store/
