| On December 29th, m-flo member ☆Taku Takahashi will be releasing “Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt The Original Soundtrack.” The anime album will be a complete solo work from the DJ, and he has just revealed the covers and full track list for the release. The album will contain the opening, “Theme for Panty&Stocking“, and the ending theme, “Fallen Angel.” It will also have three tracks that were featured in the anime as background songs, as well as all the BGM. Taku has taken on this soundtrack release as a complete solo work, even presiding over it through his TCY label. It is mostly made up of edgy techno tracks with sexy vocals on top. | As much as I hated the anime, I have to admit, the sound track is pretty god damn amazing, I haven't heard an OST this great with a fresh sound since Samurai Champloo. |

| I'm rather disappointed that the BGM from the explanation of Garterbelt's past (Ep. 11, 6:42 - 8:26) is nowhere to be found. Other than that though, it's an absolutely spectacular soundtrack. |
| I guess I'll have to play the role of the spoilsport as far as the soundtrack goes. I thought it was marginally passable with a few good songs (CHOCOLAT, Fallen Angel, D City Rock), a mix of mediocre (a lot of the later electronica), and some that make me downright queasy (Juice, Pantscada). I'm aware that this is far from the consensus but I just wanted to put out a dissenting view. So yeah, unless you really love electronica, it's best to stay away...
