The repetitive music, the rough transitions and the wild and frequent cuts succeeded in creating a highly unsettling atmosphere.
The true meaning remains ominious and offers many possibilities for diverse interpretations.

The soundtrack was nice, but didn't really match the atmosphere

To me too some Silent Hill reference (the train in SH3).
Also, I believe it's influenced by the works of David Lynch.
Good anime project, 4/5 from me because I don't understand what happened in there.

Interesting setting and the sounds sounded like a song at the beginning of each loop which sounds nice. But other than that I don't know what happened.

Well...atleast it was a better love story than Sayuri? I think. Idk, this was still equally disturbing.

The repetitive music really annoyed me, despite if it was on its own, well designed. The fact that I could clearly hear where it repeated, and it did that noise tens of times just got on my nerves, when its something they could have pretty easily fixed I feel.

Annoying audio and the animation itself seems amateur. It's not smooth and they couldn't even keep the camera still between frames. Could've been spooky if executed properly. Shame.

Well... I can't do that, so nice job.

I wouldn't want to watch it again, or similar things so 2/10.

Did that mother just left that child by themselves, how irresponsible!

Maybe this carried a message of self reborn or something, but it was hella bizarre like it was from a cult or something.

5/10.

Spooky, creepy, very dark and nightmarish. It worked for me, I think it's worth watching.

Human psyche really is a mysterious place.

Also, 6 minutes but I felt like I was watching this short for nearly an hour... weird.

this probably had some sort of meaning but i think my brain melted and lost all critical thinking skills while watching it. i didn't hate it? i guess the animation itself is impressive, ive always had a thing for stop motion. though the repeating soundtrack in the background gave me a headache, which adds to the overall.. whatever feeling this is supposed to give you, i guess

Overall a 1/10.

Seems like the creators had ambitious intentions to make something impressively animated and ominous. Unfortunately it seems, they didn't actually know how to do either. The animation is near-unwatchable at points, with awful jittering, poor framing, ugly lighting, etc. And it's not remotely disturbing. It has the hallmarks of a short that'd make you think "wtf did I just watch" but at no point does it go all in for a memorable scare. It's 6 minutes of meaningless setup that aren't scary on their own and which don't lead to anything worthwhile--unless you're dying to see a poorly-animated clay stick with hair drop an egg out of its shirt. And I hope to god the 10-second audio loop and overbearing ugly red filter over top of every shot are simply artifacts of the YouTube upload I watched, as their addition sends the short straight past amateur and into the realm of maliciously low-effort.

Through my rabbit hole looking through the numerous low-rated avant garde ""anime"" listed on here, this was undoubtedly the biggest disappointment.

This is pretty deep. Dudes fr know what my basement is up to, I couldn't quite pinpoint it myself.

Anyway, good video. I liked how weird it was.

Yeah I could only get about halfway through this unfortunately. This is utter nightmare fuel, like the video game Oddworld on steroids. And the lighting is terrible, sometimes the characters blend in completely with their surroundings and it's hard to tell what's going on as a result.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
