| Thank God a friend of mine told me to watch this anime ! At first I thought dark humor didn't fit my taste, but this is incredible. Loved that part when a character cleans the ears with a cotton swab and says that she could get addicted to it forever xD |

| My reaction to this episode was like that of the student counselor's. The teacher seems like he's going to be a pain (hopefully not). And like others have said, how did he get the job and why does he still have it? |

| I decided to watch this show because the MC suicide scene...hahaha XD One of the funny part is Fuura thinks that suicide is for getting taller....haha XD Interesting thing is that the teacher naming sense....For those who can understand Kanji can understand the author sense of humor...Itoshiki Nozomu wrote in Kanji vertically is just his name but when it wrote in horizontally and place the Kanji letter together, it can read as "Despair/Zetsubou". LOL XD The Author is genius. XDD Bfffttt :< (nosebleed) Fan Service hot spring time!!! Ohh Yeahh /// u /// Isn't the teacher teaching a bad influence to students? How did he become teacher anyway? And how did he survived until now that he keeps despairing all the way? |

| This anime sure is bizarre but funny. It has dark humor, jokes about the industry and Japanese culture that might fly over the viewer's head so I understand why this isn't other people's cup of tea. Mt Shonen Magazine xD Pink Devil, Pink CEO... Pink Supervisor! If I had a raise every time someone calls me a silly name, I'd be a little bit happy. Nisemonogatari made toothbrushing a naughty activity and I see that ear-cleaning has a similar feel to it~ A suicidal pessimist and tragic optimist goes to school... I wonder what's the punchline. Mr. Despair should go to the hot springs ta feel better. I know I would~ Albeit without that gag face :3 I'd like to list some of my despairs some day. Can't decide on just three lol. |

| The directing and music is good, but the story/humor are uninteresting and trite. Showing fanservice right from the very start is a very bad idea, very distracting. Not a fan so far. |

| Here I am, watching Zetsubou Sensei. It was a first episode just as I imagined it would be. A pessimistic and restless teacher, a hopeful and happy girl, and a very eccentric class. I'm certainly looking forward to the future. |
| Well, you can definitely tell it's Shaft. Not as brilliant and Shaftcentric as other anime I've seen from the studio, but still a good opening episode. |

| I am a big Monogatari and SHAFT fanboy, so this was just another start of a show I most likely will love as well. Thanks to my friend who forced me to watch it after a lot of attempts of recommending :) |
