Here it is, mofucka's.

http://www.mediafire.com/?p662qcq3462izig

So after a (long) break of no mixtapes, I've decided to make another (and because Kokonoe wanted it). I hope you're not too mad with me :3. Since my tastes in music have been improving steadily, I hope we can have better and better mixtapes.

The theme for this mixtape is:

Rules, as always:

Rules:
1 - 15 minute song limit (upgraded from 10 minutes)
2 - If you want the song you picked to be in the mixtape, PLEASE only post it in this thread. I will not accept PMs or profile comments with songs for the mixtape on them.
3 - Obviously, only 1 song per person.
4 - If you can't decide, I can choose for you.
5 - Please make sure your song is in the mp3 format. Filetypes like WAV, FLAC, etc will not be accepted.
6 - Minimum bitrate is 128 kpbs. I would prefer that they be at least 192 kbps. Bitrates like v0, v2, 320 etc are accepted.
7 - No reserving spots.
8 - Please use file upload sites like megaupload, zshare and mediafire. Try to stay away from rapidshare.

Calibro 35 - Il ritorno della banda - Parte II

I was thinking of going with m1dy, Dillinger Escape Plan or Ufomammut but decided to be honest and submit some Italian psychedelic rock.

I like this theme. Actually got me thinking which one album I'll pick at my album of the year.

So yeah, Hip-Hop again but this has to be my album of the year. Had a hard time picking one track off Death Is Silent.

Fear Factory - Powershifter

I am absolutely in love with Fear Factory's new album. I even saw FF live for my very first concert not too long ago, it was a blast.

You should've picked "Industrial Discipline" or "Final Exit", Kokonoe.

crow'sclaw - Two of Fairies

Yet another impressive album from cc. Then again I haven't heard that much from this year so it was pretty much down to either cc or Delphic.

Will probably enter something later.

Maybe something by Alcest, Les Discrets, Machinae Supremacy or from the new Agalloch album (which I haven't heard yet though).

Since we were asked so nicely in the club comments, I think I'm going to post something from WEG even though Seven Idiots is not my AOTY.

Still don't have an AOTY chosen. But this song by Flying Lotus is probably my favorite song for the year, and the album itself (Cosmogramma) is in my top 3. Good enough.

Now you're asking for the impossible ;~; Album of the year, huh.

Let's see if I can cut down the selection to just one song.

Does it have to be an /album/ or can it be an EP too?

It can be an EP also, of course.

Hiroyuki ODA - Thirty

Ended up picking this album. Definitely one of the better stuff of 2010 non-doujin.

Big Blood continues to be the most consistently brilliant band around; they never fail to impress. Their entire discography (sans one album) is available free to download, and my internet connection has been awful lately, so this also saves me the effort of personally uploading a song..

There it is. I was hoping more people would submit, thats why I let it run for so long. I'll start the next one in a few days.

Great mixtape as usual. Then again, any mixtape that gives me more artists I like is a good one.

Standout tracks:
They Told Me (Feat. Deacon the Villian) - Kno
Coming Home Pt. III - Big Blood
Thirty - Hiroyuki Oda
Black Blade - Two Steps From Hell

Also, the file I downloaded lacked the World's End Girlfriend song. Just sayin'.
