| Final Fantasy 4 is my favorite of favorites. The only others in the FF series I actually enjoyed was 6, 9 and 12 though. (11 to if it counts, (since its an MMORPG 'n all)) Can't play #13 or 14 since I don't have the equipment to do so. (God I wanna play the ffxiv mmo D:) |
| A few years ago I probably would have said VI, but now I find myself actually preferring the original. It didn't try to be anything more than a straight up fantasy game, and it's near perfect because of that. It doesn't have the problem of annoying characters, crappy romance, or a ridiculous story like the many of the others. |

| VII by default, as it was the only one I ever finished. Great game, if a tad overhyped. I imagine VI would be my favorite if I hadn't lost my save in a hard drive crash about halfway through the game. No, scratch that.. Tactics, if that counts. Although again, I never completed it due to a lost save.. *sigh* Only others I played were V and VIII, briefly. Didn't care much for them. |

| I don't have a favorite. There are things about every single game I loved. The only ones I haven't played are the non-numbered games- Like Crystal Chronicles and such, with the exception of Dissidia and Tactics:War of the Lions. Though... If I had to chose an even top 3, they would be IV, VII:Crisis Core, Tactics:War of the Lions. |

| My top 7; 1. FF VI - longest and challenging FF game i've ever played, do i even have to explain more? 2. FF VII series - oh yeah, from games to movies, this game really deserves what the people whom created it wanted to. 3. FF I - because this is my first final fantasy game around 9 yrs. old and I haven't manage to clear it back then, not because the monsters are hard, heck I was around level 40 or so, it's because I don't know what to do next after the cave with lavas and fire. 4. FF IX - my next FF game after VII, my first triad game, also my very first level 1 run on the entire series xD 5. FF V - the very first FF game where I actually tried for more than 5x to defeat a certain boss, which was Atomos. 6. FF Dissidia - yay, they made it as an Action-RPG game, really addicted to it around 2 weeks 7. FFXIII - though it's not ' great as many haters said, i still like it more than the others due to it's system. and as for the others, FF VIII, FF X and above, i haven't played or didn't manage to finish because the game crashes on some point and so i decided just to abandon it eventhough i was really enjoying playing it.. kuussssoooo! (>_<) FF tactics and FF II-III-IV, is just mediocre due to a lot of ' enhancements ' or so they called. |

| Final Fantasy XII. The story is awesome and I love its battle system. Sadly this game led me to believe that Last Remnant (both games look similar) was good, too. I wasted money back then... Next is Final Fantasy VIII. Good story and the first complex RPG I've ever played. |

| I'm not sure if I've stated this before, but....Tactics not even a shred of doubt about that. And, that's just purely on the incredibly awesome storyline. I'm not even talking about the very well done battle system either. The only problem I have with Tactics is that most characters have no relevance after recruitment. I quite enjoyed VII, VIII, IX, and X though. |

| It tends to fluctuate depending on what I'm currently playing: I currently have FFI on my cell phone (FULL OF WIN! \m/), and just got FFIV: Complete Collection so I've been playing IV more because of it. I LOVE VII and VIII, but really... it's like choosing a flavor of soda... it's damned near impossible for me to give a definitive answer. I like them all for different reasons, to be honest with you. |
| after much deliberation i have come to a conclusion, my favorite is Final Fantasy 9. Overall i liked 9's battle system the best, i liked how it was designed to be like the older 2d games. The backgrounds for every level were well done and helps keep it looking good despite it being a ps1 game. It has deccent characters (i love Vivi and Betrix but hate some of the others, but i liked how they were all very different). others in rank (only includes proper "numbered" games, tactics is great in its own right) 2. FFX 3. FFVI 4. FFVII 5. FFIV |
