| FFVII which was also the first RPG I've played. I got so attached to it. And pretty much everything about it was great, characters, story, music, gameplay (materials <3) And comes second by a small distance is FFX. Just remember the first scene makes me feel nostalgic/sad. |

Also really... considering Tactics came out before VS, and VS is the only non FF title to be set in Ivalice, how does its mere presence cancel the others from being a "proper" final fantasy. Besides it has final fantasy in the title... and thats all we're really looking for in a thread like this. |

It just feels odd because well... the final fantasy name covers a tonne of different genres. Dissidia, XI, tactics, chocobo dungeon, itadaki street, dirge of cerberus... HECK they even got a tower defense mini game (crystal defenders). So just saying "they're all final fantasy because they are in the same franchise" is a little bit much because it has enough in its franchise to appeal to all sorts of people. In essence, they all bear the name "Final fantasy" but everyone has their own "emotion" (gosh that sounded cheesy but I can't for the life of me think up a better word to put there) attached to the name. But anyways... since this is a favorites thread (as apposed to a "best" thread), it doesn't matter at all what can be considered a true final fantasy or not. Anything with FF in the title is fair game here. |

| The only Final Fantasy games that I completed were XII and XIII. I loved XII and thought XIII was good enough to invest the time to get the platinum trophy on the PS3. Man... That took over 150 hours to get. |
| FF is one of my favourite game series~ I've played FFI, FFII, FFVII and XII. And I have to say that my fav would be the VII :3 but I like XII too >__< |
