| Moriaki-sensei was a winner in this episode; his thinking is ridiculous as Hotori's antics. He is easily one of my favourite side character of this season. I'm glad that story doesn't just go around Ayashiyama alone. Even though I haven't got any big laugh since the start of the series, I'm enjoying this series more than anything else. I just don't know where that enjoyment is coming from if its not humour. |

| Wow, I had a feeling Moriaki-sensei would be my favorite character, but this episode completely confirmed it. I loved his flashback the remainder thing. That always kinda bugged me as a kid :P -Chiaki's getting better with her voice for Arashiyama. I think I really like it now. -Still lovin' that ED. |

| I just barely noticed that Moriaki has the same seiyuu as Gintoki. And I only noticed that because the mind-ranting sounded familiar. This episode was great! I somehow think that Arashiyama's grandma maybe was Moriaki's teacher. Though it seems unlikely. |

| REALLY LOVING THIS SHOW. ARASHIYAMA IS AS CHARMING AS EVER. I ACTUALLY SUPPORT THE TEACHER/STUDENT RELATIONSHIP HERE AND I USUALLY NEVER DO. I LIKE MORIAKI-SENSEI. ARASHIYAMA-MORIAKI, GOOD COMBO. This series doesn't make me laugh out loud, but it's great fun. The art was a little whack this episode. |

| Best episode so far. 5/5 This ep really get me the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei feeling. "Our girl is growing up, huh?" "I wonder. She can't tell the difference between a lipstick and gluestick, so I'm not so sure." |

| I rooting for Hotori to get her Moriaki sensei even though this might seems improbable. You know Moriaki-sensei and Hotori are really alike one overly serious, one not serious but both are fools. I think they relationship are getting better I mean the teacher did try to play a prank on her. |

You know, I sort of had the same feeling. I thought of her mother first when the teacher appeared, but that of course wouldn't be possible considering Arashima's age etc.. no.. I think it's quite likely actually. And hmm, while it's settled that the emphasized facial expressions are just a thing we'll have to take as SHAFT's trademark, that empty classroom, but at the same time 'filled' with neatly stacked tables and chairs, was just a perfect representation of their overall work. Yup. |

| This episode cracked me up a lot, by far the best episode so far. The teacher is lovely, I need more of him. | OH MY~ It's embarresing, but I can sure relate to Hotori in this episode - her talent for math really rivals mine in my school days, so it was almost nostalgic watching this. I actually did the "guessing the results" myself as a young teen XD~ Somehow - while I do find Hotori a bit annoying - she reminds me of my childhood self with all her stupidity. Not that I'm completely healed by now, haha ^-^; Haha, some friend actually said "Boring ep, didn't laugh." So I didn't expect much - but I really enjoyed it completely. Moriaki-sensei was plain awesome and I really understood why they chose Sugita Tomokazu for the role - great delivery, Gin-sensei! SHAFTs directing also shows through really heavy in this episode, great working in making plain scenes visually interesting. Some have said "I didn't laugh but still enjoyed it for some reason." I think part of the reason is the off-beat nature of the show plus SHAFT'ish visual weirdness - I barely laughed out loud too but just felt it was "Hella' cool" . |
