| When it comes to Guy.. I mostly use U1 against shoto characters and U2 against the rest. :E And only U1 for Ken. U2 is like.. fucking awful. |
| For Makoto her U2 is sexy, plus it leaves the opponent in juggle state so you get fray damage ๏ผ´∀๏ฝ๏ผ. Its only downside is that it's very situational and is preferred for specific match ups. I personally prefer command grab into UBW U1 all day, any day. At least against most of the cast. edit: derp grammatical errors. |

| Blanka's U2 is actually quite useful and I've seen quite a number of characters use it, actually. It can punish projectile users very badly and you can also punish jump ins with it as well. With Fuerte, it's impossible to not at least receive chip from{which is pretty good, I must say} and you can't bait it with him like you can with his U1 unless you have an ultra handy on you. Though I guess that in his case as with a good many others, what ultra is the best is really determined by the match-up... or you could be Balrog and just use U1 since U2 is so fucking useless. | Most of the cast have 2 viable ultras that fit different matchups. As a Choon-Ri player I generally use U2 in most matchups and switch to U1 against shotos. I know a lot of people shit on Cammy's & Fei Long's Counter-U2's, but it's fucking AMAZING against Rufus and will be just as great against Yun & Yang. The only ultras I can think of that are completely worthless without any redeeming qualities are Balrog's & Viper's U2's. |

Although that takes A LOT of skill. |
