Moritaka and Miho's relationship goals are janky as heck. Especially since they are supposed to be texting each encouragement and they don't even have each other's number. That aside, I'm just really anxious about the path's they are choosing to take. As optimistic as Moritaka is choosing to be about it, people change. Without any real groundwork or commitment, their potential relationship could easily fall apart. At least get her number Moritaka, sheesh.

That aside, it was interesting to see the various pens used, and the general talk about how manga is pieced together. That ink and those pens are some of the better drawn things in this series, lol. If nothing else, Moritaka is certainly working hard to improve his drawing ability. So that's good.

Getting down to manga terminology! That was a fun scene.

It's so sad that everyone in Mashiro's house keeps shutting his mother down. Like she's not allowed to be worried about her son's life and future. Cringed a little at the "men have dreams you wouldn't understand" line from the father earlier on. It clashes so much with Mashiro being a realist himself. His mother and him could have had a bonding moment by realistically discussing what Mashiro's decision meant to him. The grandfather and father come between in such an unnecessary way. I can't help but feel that she was cut entirely out of communicating with her son.

Another episode of Akito being a precious bean. I like his confidence and energy. Mashiro and Akito are polar opposites but their chemistry is everything!

Edit: Really good anime so far.
