Not me.

I stream a lot of currently airing anime so I don't want to wait another 10-20min for every one of them on torrent. Could be more than that if the show is old and/or there's not enough good seeds. Sure the quality sucks most of the time but I just want to see if I like the show.

For the ones that I decide to keep, I wait for BD rips. Those will have even higher quality than TV rips torrents. 1080p vs 720p. Sometimes the animation gets fixed and whatnot. (Let's not forget: removal of those evil mysterious steams/shadows/light rays)

Torrents are great. I wouldn't get my anime any other way. Been doing it for years (w/o any sort of blocker too).

Torrenting is pretty good. It's actually faster than direct download and unlike streams, you can save the file up for later use. The only downside (that I know of) is that the material's gotta be relatively new/popular for there to be seeds. If not, well... let's say you'll see jaw-dropping ETA.

For anime, it's torrents.

uTorrent + TokyoTosho Google Chrome Extension = Win

For everything else, usenet and ddl are far better and faster download speeds.
