| Gunbuster - this is one of the few series where I can regard the ending as near perfection. These are the others which I felt were immensely satisfying: Saraiya Goyou FMA Brotherhood Only Yesterday (the endings scenes were honestly the greatest parts of the film) |

Adding: - Paradise Kiss (bittersweet, but still good and conclusive) - Samurai Champloo (again, bittersweet but felt very appropriate) - Millennium Actress (beautiful and poetic) - Sword of the Stranger (for leaving us guessing while still feeling like an ending) - Spirited Away (a beautiful end for a wonderful fairy tale) The last three are films, but I don't care xD I liked their endings, too. |

| @TensaiShonen Dude NAUSICA DID NOT HAVE A GOOD ENDING. The forest is gone, now everyone is STILL gona die because they can't do anything about the fungus and the tolmekians can return at any second. We only saw them LEAVING, presumably to come back with a bigger fleet tomorrow. As for me, I'd say -Gundam seed, where things are finally settled peacefully (only to be fucked up again in the sequel) -Azumanga Daioh, where they remain friends and presumably keep in contact even after their school days. I hate those endings like k-on where they think no longer in same school = never see each other again. Totally not true. |

| Legend of the Galactic Heroes was probably the best ending I have seen to date. It's rare that a show, especially in anime comes together so perfectly, really no loose strings at the end. RahXephon was a really good one, a really sweet happy end, that actually made sense. Wasn't forced and the events leading up to the end were explained nicely. And Aria the Origination of course. |
