Same thoughts and feelings on my side! The first episode had me a bit skeptical - it made me smile a few times and was a pleasent watch, but I had doubts the concept would keep me entertained. Luckily, I was wronged! This episode really made me laugh and got me charmed. And while the inked cake was super predictable, it still made me grin ^_^
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the actual cosplays Ika was wearing.
Red china dress = KAGURA-CHAN!
I must admit I barely recognize the others, but most seemed awfully familar and there was a colourful one that reminded me of Chokota Sister.
Can anyone name them all?
That opening blurb is a better explanation of Goro's job than what he says later. I don't know if he protects the sea so much as he allows people to have fun in the sea with a decreased chance of dying.
Aw so precious! :)
I suppose if they'd remember that this isn't someone who will understand what various things are for without explanation, we'd have a very different show.
If I were to guess(o) based on appearance, I'd say... 14 or 15? But then, as she only looks human, there's no way to really know at this time...
Sparklers or snakes, either way.
As if having Christine Marie Cabanos as VA isn't enough, this situation makes Ika remind me of Azusa even more. Which is no bad thing, to my thinking.
(Of course, since Sanae shares a VA with Ui... :D )
Sanae's pretty cute.
According to Wikipedia, there's a dog named Alexander on FMA.
"You really shouldn't let a dog eat raw squid, you know."
Heh, I picked up on her intent to use Alex to get Eiko somewhere else while she has her photo shoot just from the anime. So it's even more obvious in the manga, eh?
Okay, how did she get Ika's sizes? Did she just eyeball it?
hmmmm hint of a lesbian who likes to dress up the other girl. This show just got more interesting.Hope we see more of her. Also thats one dam good printer never seen one print full colored pics so fast.
Perhaps the comic characters are very few, but the narrative is fanciful and fun. Ika is tenderness in his desire to conquer the Earth, not realizing that on it, people are all so weird and more dangerous than it may seem on the surface. Excellent plot that already enlarges the cast. It is very nice, the opening. Excellent references to many other anime series. XD
