So for a News Moderator to report about the release date of a Japanese DVD that I can't buy is, well, quiet frankly, foolish in my opinion. Besides, it has already been licensed in America, so I don't care about the release date for it in Japan. | Japanese people pay for watching shows on television (so they BUY it), while we don't. I still can't see the difference. Following your logic, it's meaningless to announce new airing shows also, since we can't buy them anyway. Wait, then this whole news section would be meaningless, since most of the news are from Japan, while we aren't. Btw there are many people outside of Japan that buy japanese DVDs to support the anime and the studio behind it. That's what Amazon is for. |

| Come on guys. The way I see it, dtshyk told us this is because now we know when the Movie is coming out in Japan, we can set a timescale for when it will be subbed online and we can watch it. Drake has a point in that most users won't be able to actually buy the DVD, but for those who want to watch the movie will now have a rough idea of when they can watch it online. Its sort of like the Haruhi movie personally, I'm only going to watch it when it has a DVD copy subbed and I know when, thanks to dtshyk telling us that it'll be released at the end of December, meaning I can hopefully watch it in January when its uploaded. |

Stop fighting guys, it's not like dtshyk will delete this this news just cuz you think it's not important. It is for some of us, deal with it. Maybe we won't buy the DVD but it's nice to know about when we'll be able to watch it online. And btw it's not like dtshyk won't add news about japanese releases just cuz some (most?) of us aren't from Japan. It's like he wouldn't add news about some new anime just cuz it's gonna be aired only in Japan and we don't live there. Not nice, right? |
