It's a clear parody of how ridiculous both anime and Western cartoons are, but everything just worked. | Incredibly awesome soundtrack, really cool animation style, ridiculous action, and live action explosions. Oh man this show has me hooked right from the beginning, Gainax you've done it again. |

For now i liked the intensity and the voice acting, surprisingly, and just being blown away since i had no idea what to expect . I Don't read summaries before I test new shows since it ruins what i am going to watch anyways. The whole shit gag of the first part was a turn off, and i am not sure i liked the speed segment either. Actually there is nothing that i particularly liked, except Stocking. =P The true test comes in the next few weeks: Can it retain interest with what it gives? Style is important but only goes so far. |

| Just watched it and I'm not sure what I think. Lol. It had a lot of elements that are similar to American cartoons, the same elements that made me stop watching such cartoons; toliet humor, excessive cursing, etc. But than again, it was entertaining and all the adult themes were really crude, not expected, but really funny. Will keep watching so I can decide whether I like it or not. Haha, =p |

| What the hell did I just watch. This would've fit back in the 90s with all the gross-out humor. I laughed at the old shopping lady getting run over...that's about it. I won't be continuing this one, hope the rest of you have fun. |
